If it doesn't win GOTY, it'll be because of Portal 2. But overall, Reach looks epic.

Reach will win GOTY by far because all of you seem to forget that the critics that give out these awards completely forget games from before June by the time the end of the year comes around. I do love Halo, but the only reason ODST got anywhere near any awards is because it came out at the end of the year and was fresh on people's minds.

Just fast forward to 1:25.....ah do i hate the lowered skill ceiling of "modern" shooters, so lowered so the masses will buy them and think there playing a hardcore shooter when they dont know the meaning of the word.

my logic is the whole series seems like multiple mods of the first game with halo 3 brining the graphics update.

I hope they put matchmaking for firefight this time. No way I'm going to make room on my friendslist to play Halo.

I think it will win best multiplayer and shooter, assuming those are both awards. I don't really follow these things. As for GOTY, it will definitely be in the running and I think it has a real shot at winning but there's a lot of good competition this year. It's hard to say anything with complete certainty though considering I haven't even played the game--outside the Beta at least.

It is impossible to confirm GOTY and even being a higher scoring game doesn't warrant a GOTY award like Demon Souls last year.

Remember all the games that have already come out such as ME2, SMG2, GOW3, etc.
