Halo Series, Good or Bad?

I personally love, the Halo series. Just the Sci-fi atmosphere and the lonelyness of all the games put together makes a tremedous franchise.

What do yuo guys think? Good? Bad?

Halo 3 ODST - Disappointingly bad

Haven't played Halo: Reach yet.

Just decent. I've been Halo'd out since Halo 3 though.

its decent.

Decent. Combat Evolved was spectacular, but it feels like the impacting appeal decreased after every release.

other then halo CE (which was ok) and halo wars they're all great

Awh darn you hate Halo 1?

Didn't really like how it recycled a lot of areas amongst other things. I kinda find it weird on how I like Halo 3 the most (out of all I played) while most think it's the worst game in the series.

Played it, but didnt really get into it....decent enought though

Im a loyal sony fan, but that is a stupid question, Halo is good. Quite obvious

The entire series has been solid (not counting Halo was since I never played it and Bungie didn't do it) so yeah, I think it's it's good.

This is an original topic that's never been discussed here at system wars.

Anyway.....

As a whole the series is great. I didn't enjoy 2 as much though, and i've yet to finish ODST :(

The repeating textures didn't bother me because for most of the levels, the actual layouts were great. Also, must Halo fanboys (like me) consider 2 the worst in the main series, by campaign anyway.

Halo Wars sucked big time. The rest were decent.

If you honestly think its bad then you are just being a fanboy. Maybe its not your cup of tea but that doesn't qualify it as bad. I didn't like Borderlands but that doesn't mean it was a bad game.

I'd say good.

Not a single Bungie made Halo game (see what I did there?) has scored below AAA here.

It's foolish to think that the Halo series is immune to criticism but to say that it's a "bad" series just seems wrong to me in light of its impressive track record.

Decent games, but nothing ground breaking or even best in class.

The good and bad of the Halo series is the same thing. The xbox was built on it, but as such it seems as if MS has a "all eggs in one basket" kind of situation, so now what happens if/when the Halo fanbase isn't satisfied with the new dev.
