Halo Trailer was Bad

Could Microsoft not put together a half decent trailer? Does anyone remember the Halo 3 trailer and how much hype that generated?

This is not that the game looked bad, this is my rant that the trailer itself sucked. Watching half a cutscene is not a trailer. Splicing some scenes together with some game play, awesome music, etc. is how a trailer should be done.

With that, all e3 trailers I've seen have sucked.

I agree. They delayed this game for a year and I can't really see a difference..the only positive thing was that multi-player is free to play, don't even need precious Game Pass 😎

I'm guessing they're holding the majority of stuff back for a dedicated in-depth showing before release.

They really didn't want to show off the ring world like last year. Something tells me that a lot more needs to be done to improve it or they haven't improved much in the past year.

I enjoyed it myself. Maybe not the best Halo trailer there’s ever been but I thought it was ok and the multiplayer looked great.

@SolidGame_basic: How is that a bad thing? Some of the biggest multiplayer games are free to play. Seems like a very smart thing to do and they aren’t the only ones doing this.

The Multiplayer looks fantastic! Graphics are great as well. Can't wait for this.

The campaign 'teaser', though... It looks as if it's still not ready to be shown, hence the brief panning of the camera from the sky.

The Sony fanboys on here praise paying $70 for a simple and forgettable 10 hour experience but wouldn't be caught dead even paying $10 per month for hundreds of titles on Game Pass.

I thought it was just okay. I'll still play it, but it doesn't look amazing.

It was ok for me. Graphics was expected for a F2P multiplayer

I loved what they showed, MP looks clean. I'm a halo fanboy tho and i can recognize that. I just want balanced competitive MP from Halo, that's all I care about with Halo. Grappling hook looks interesting and seems like an interesting mechanic, being able to grab weapons on the map with it is going to make for so interesting situations. Still want to see more of the game modes and maps. *you better have some of the classics in this **** 343, lockout, midship, coagulation.

Halo MP is still my most hyped thing from this E3 for me. If its good I know ill be putting thousands of hours into it over a few years. Its free too which is smart imo!! This game can possibly have a gigantic pool of players which is what i want for Halo MP. Its a great competitive shooter.

I'm guessing because the games 120fps that the graphics took a hit....otherise i would have prefered if they made it just 60fp and improved the graphics, cause it looks like an og xbox one game.

Putting it in the middle of the show was telling. Microsoft knows the game is a trainwreck and they are doing everything they can to hide the skeleton campaign.

Outer Worlds 2 is probably one of the best trailers I've seen though.

Surprised? Sony fanboy. They're dumb as hell. Gets owned frequently by Pedro, desperately trying and failing at comebacks. Really entertaining to watch though, I hope it continues.

Honestly, the Multiplayer looks rock solid, and that is arguably the main selling point of Halo these days.

It looks better than it did the last time they showed it. It's a bit worrying that they announced F2P MP and didn't even show campaign footage from Craig 2.0.

It makes me worried we'll have a repeat of Halo 5: full on MP and totally garbage single player.

It looks like it belongs on a console with Jag cpu's. It looks like a game i should've played in 2016 or 2017. Nothing in it looked good or interesting. Its crazy to think that before the original demo was shown, Infinite was the game i was the most curious of seeing because of their new engine and going back to the Halo CE art style. Now, now the game looks as forgettable as Halo 5, and its not even released yet.

If you're so obsessed with high-tier graphics, open your mother's pocket book and get a high-end gaming PC, because playing on a $499 system with hardware from 3 years ago simply won't cut it.

You would've had to play halo combat evolved when it released in 2001 was nothing like it on consoles at the time, graphics destroyed any game at the time and had actual good controls and vehicles were excellent and the a.i was pretty great for its time also, halo kinda standardized the modern fps controls on consoles.

halo's vehicles are still the best in any fps whens it all said and done, how the warthhog kinda snakes around objects and you dont really get caught on stuff like you would in someone elses clunky vehicles in another fps.

Stalker 2 blew it away.

yeah vehicles had been done in fps games before, but halo combat evolved released that was the best it got in having vehicles in a fps less clunky than other peoples previous attempts.

that was one of the coolest parts of halo tbh, driving the warthog down hallways lol, try to snake the warthhog in tinniest hallways you could, in halo 2 they ended up putting concrete barriers to try to keep people from driving down the interior hallways on maps lol.

another thing that was pretty funny was at the time also was getting a warthog full of marines and you drive to the edge on a map/cliff and make em teeter totter and they're all talking to you chief get back in the truck lets go or w/e lol and you're sitting there making em rock back and forth hitting back of the vehicle with your guns/melee, then you eventually ok time to push em off the edge and they're all screaming falling lol.

Im actually someone who bought halo combat evolved day one when it released november 15th 2001, im not let down by halo infinite only by the fact it's multiplayer is ''free to play'' this means they're gonna try to nickel and dime people which i dont like.

when halo combat evolved released it was one of the most realistic looking fps graphics in games because graphics werent that great in general and stuff was evolving quickly, but it's artstyle was never going for ultra realism look like crysis tho.

Lol, people really want this game to fail so much. So much energy wasted to hate on a game that no doubt will be played and supported for years to come.

@sonic_spark: I think MS wants to get past the Halo-Gears-Forza critique. So, while it's highly anticipated, they didn't spend any more time on Halo than they did some other titles - I actually think Fallout 76 may have gotten as much time.

You'd better hope it is the "train wreck" you say it is - after the almost daily negative comments you make about Halo, if the campaign and the visuals are good, a lot of people are going to spam you for a year over the ownage you'll receive.
