This is dumb, what's the point of this?
2 mediocre games(imo) fight to the death? Boring.

[QUOTE="Ravensmash"][QUOTE="lightleggy"] dissagree if you want....you know its probably just my opinion but I dont really like games where enemies need to be shot around 1 and a half magz to die (in SP campaign....4 magazines in MP) also, the guns in halo are not fun to shoot and the "human" ones have exagerated recoil and low accuracy...lightleggyYeah, it's your opinion fair enough. You are exaggerating the amount of times an enemy needs to be shot though, more like 3/4 head shots with a BR to down someone, or a nice swift melee when the shields are down - but compared to COD yeah it is definitely more. yeah I dont really see how they can consider dying in few shots "noob friendly" but not dying in over 9000 shots...in my opinion the noob friendly concept should take a radical twist
who brought up noob friendly?
and if you really want to argue it, more shots to kill is going to cater to those who actually have skill. COD is all reaction time, you don't need headshots, you see them and body shot them before they can iron sight you. that's what COD consists of.
[QUOTE="Ravensmash"][QUOTE="lightleggy"]cod> halo halo is wayyyy overrated...lightleggyI completely disagree . dissagree if you want....you know its probably just my opinion but I dont really like games where enemies need to be shot around 1 and a half magz to die (in SP campaign....4 magazines in MP) also, the guns in halo are not fun to shoot and the "human" ones have exagerated recoil and low accuracy...You either really bad at Halo or you've never played it. Four magazines...HA!

This is what bad players say. I'm not saying you don't like it because you suck, in the SP there will be enemies which take a lot of shots to kill, but it also depends on the type of weapon you use. Online it should take no more than one clip at the most, any more and you're doing it wrong. Aiming for the head helps, the AR has crap range, etc. and I don't know what you mean by exaggerated recoil as Halo games probably have the least recoil in any game I have played.
oh snap, play too much COD and you might forget this basic fundamental in shooters.....;)

In COD depsite skill with the controls, and map knowledge if I see you first, you're dead.
Even if you see me first in Halo, if you suck then your ass is mine.

Indeed it does. In Rainbow Six I would always aim for the head as it was an instant kill. In COD it does a bit more damage but it takes so few shots people don't really need to aim for the head anyway. Then COD players try to play Halo, where you have to aim your shots and use weapons to their advantages, and suck at it ("OMG I sprayed a whole clip in this guy and he killed me in 4 shots!"). :P[QUOTE="HavocV3"][QUOTE="lightleggy"] yeah I dont really see how they can consider dying in few shots "noob friendly" but not dying in over 9000 shots...in my opinion the noob friendly concept should take a radical twistlightleggy

noobs need more life, because noobs get more hits. so a lot of life= noob friendlythat's a great way to twist things to your advantage.
except, the noob that gets a 'head start' as I'll call it, will get 4-shotted by someone skilled. put that same situation in COD, and the noob can win.
as mentioned above, you actually have to go for headshots, like to see how effective you are at Halo if you went for nothing but body shots like any other COD-style MP.

If I suck at COD, but see you first chances are you're still dead. One or two hit's kill.
If you see me in Halo and you suck, the first couple of shots show me where you are at and now I retaliate. You die, because I'm more skilled, even though you had the drop on me.

Or come into BFBC2, you can see me first with a sniper but if you don't know how/where to aim, you're screwed because I can take you down with like 3 controlled bursts instead of in CoD, where if the nub saw me first, he can kill me by holding down the trigger even when he's aimed at my feet[QUOTE="Ravensmash"][QUOTE="lightleggy"]cod> halo halo is wayyyy overrated...lightleggyI completely disagree . dissagree if you want....you know its probably just my opinion but I dont really like games where enemies need to be shot around 1 and a half magz to die (in SP campaign....4 magazines in MP) also, the guns in halo are not fun to shoot and the "human" ones have exagerated recoil and low accuracy...
stop missing.

^the main problem I have with that is, it's not who can aim the best........it's who can aim first. you spray in their general direction and they die. in halo, yeah they can shoot first, but if their aim or strafe is inferior, you will still win. that's the beauty of halo. it rewards skill.

And how can anyone not find weapons like the Needler fun? Rather use that than dual-wieldable shotguns with sniper range and accuracy. those got patched like a month after the game came out. also the needler stinks. the needle rifle is where its at.
