Final Fantasy make's its slow turn-based system seem more exciting than it really is.

I vote Halo because the main theme on a guitar solo was absolutely amazing in Halo 2.

The difference of being good music and being generic is something like when the Riders of Rohan arrive in LotR:RotK. There, they play epic, grand music with an orchestra accompanying one single string instrument that has a real catchy tune.

Why should I purchase crap after previewing a bit of it, playing the crappy game. The music wasn't even apparent in the game which tells me the music wasn't great. When I play God of War, I hear epic music. That's how music works in games.

Halo is overrated, the music is meh.

So for that reason, Final Fantasy. Especially 7 and 8's music.

There is no denying that Halo's music is original, full of variety, and well composed.

Get over yourself.

Halo for me:).

First one - Sounds like african tribal music. 20 seconds in I'm bored.

Second one - I like the bass but as the percussion rolls in, it feels like my electronic keyboard on autoplay with one of those demos. At least I heard it for a minute.

Third one - It should've taken off way earlier. It could've built up a bit more excitement and added more bravado with a few more instruments.

Fourth one - This one's pretty good. But then I heard something similar from Planetside.

Fifth one - sounds like they just rip this one from Final Fantasy's book.

K I had enough so this isn't for me. Must be an American thing to like this music.
