Halo vs Gears of war

All i can say is that they both belong to 7th gen and should've stayed there.

Gears of War has one of the best shooting mechanics, Halo is just a generic sci-fi shooter.

Most games are better than Lols of War series.

Multiplayer wise Halo, single player wise and broop Gears of War. Mechanically Gears of War is a much better game on a basic level, but Halo's versatility in mp makes it a genuine blast. Don't care for either stories, but when Gears of War is having fun being dumb it's at least endearing, but they started taking that series seriously with Maria and his dumb wife, and **** that.

Halo but Gears does have the distinction of best TPS so ya know, it's a win, win sitchy for me, just sayin. :P

I prefer Halo on both the SP and MP side of gaming. Still enjoy some Gears here and there, and will be picking Gears of War 4 up day 1.

Halo is good, gears isnt. The only good gears game is 3 and even then it's only slightly better than the worst halo (odst)

If only MS can bring those to franchise together for the first time and it would make owning Xbox One great again.

Halo vs Gears of War game would be a dream come true.

As for this thread, Campaign wise, Gears of War. MP Wise, Halo. I like'em both but if I really got to pick one, it's Halo since Halo has more games then Gears so Halo wins in my books.

Halo. I know Gears isnt bad, but i couldnt really get into it. Halo is something I've played for around 11 or so years now, and the story/Master Chief will always be legendary to me. At least for 1-3 and Reach. 4 was alright and i havent played 5 yet, but the story definitely seems to have taken a large hit to the groin.

I like both series, but I'm more of a Gears guy than Halo.

Halo looks and plays great, but i prefer Gears. Halo 2 strategy game is excellent though, day one buy.

Halo is a boring sci fic shooter with horrible mp. Gears of war is a masterpiece, Awsome mp one of the best campaigns of all time.

Gears of War did borrow the whole covering fire from Kill.Switch back on PS2 and it's predecessor to Gears of War.

Halo for sure, but both are the top of their genre. halo is the best FPS and Gears is the best TPS

They both are good at what they do. FPS to TPS is apples to oranges. If I had to pick just one I'd pick Halo.

Gears of war

Halo, though a pure 1 v 1 Gears match is exhilarating in a way Halo can't be 1 v 1

Halo is a FPS, Gears is a 3PS, that makes a world of difference, I can´t say this one is better than the other one, I like and play both.

I've never been a big fan of Gears... They're ok. But I've been a big Halo fan since the beginning (although Halo 5 was a disappointment).

We'll have a blast with this and Sea of Thieves next year dude
