Halo vs. Killzone and Resistance combined - which is most important?

Halo: CE got 9.7 from GS and was widely hailed as one of the best shooters ever.

KZ failed and scored a bad 6.9 and wasn't hailed as HALO.

RESISTANCE was better hailed by critics than KZ but definitely not than HALO.

would U rather see the face of Halo continue or with KZ and Re?

Which SERIES is the MOST IMPORTANT to gaming industry?

ALSO, would you rather see Halo 4 and Gears of War 3 or Killzone 3 and Resistance 3?

I think Halo is the more important series. Killzone and Resistance(and 75% of fps?) definitely take cues from Halo, but none can match or surpass Bungie's presentation and immersion. Halo has the biggest sale and fan following then both games combined IMO.

Halo changed console FPS and made them a major factor on consoles. Halo made online gaming on consoles a huge factor also. RfoM has done nothing to change gaming. RfoM is not a powerhouse seller like Halo. KZ2 is a sequel to a flop and still has yet to prove anything at all. At least RfoM has done more then KZ2.

Halo has been a major force in every area. RfoM2 was not even a major seller. Just compare RfoM2 sales to Gears since both came out at the same time. Comparing RfoM to Halo is like like comparing a McDonald's burger to a juicy Steak. Sure the burger will fill you up and taste good but it sure as heck is no steak.

And comparing KZ2 anywhere close to Halo is just silly. Like I have said before I wish KZ2 would get delayed at least one more time so it would go against Halo:Recon and then everyone on the board could laugh at the cows.

Halo 2 IS XBL.

Halo 3 IS all that is great in the world.

i think halo was so popular because the xbox had nothing else, when people think xbox they think halo, it was the only good game at the time for the box and the gamers ate it up, sorta like resistance at the ps3's launch.danthegardner99

no they bought it because they already owned and loved halo CE if the xbox had better games when halo CE came out, i don't think it would be as popular 

Theres no other game in this genre thats more influencial than Halo.

The second sentense was direct to TC not you, sorry about that. The reason why I quoted you was because I agree with you on the part where you say Halo being the most influencial, which of course is obvious. Thus why I don't see the point in this thread other than flamebait.
