Which game system (ps3, 360) has the best of each

When it comes to shooters, the 360 does have the edge.

Gears is a great multiplayer game, though the first and second game I beat in under 6 hours.

Halo is Halo, Nuff said.

Still, the MGS4 has the best SINGLEPLAYER experience Up there imo, although I haven't played R2, I doubt it will top Kojima's latest Opus.

Well since GeoW and Mgs4 arn't even in the same league or catagory together...You obviously haven't played MGS4 since it is not a third person shooter.....Its a game what you can beat without shooting at all(well except for boss's)

And I don't like halo or resistance but if I had to choose halo 2 vs Resistance I would probably choose halo and If I had to choose MGS vs GeoW Then I'd choose MGS

For FPS, I say about equal.

For TPS, Im going with MGS4, but then again im probably the biggest MGS fan to ever grace System Wars :P

halo or R2... hmmmm, i'm leaning to halo2 because resistance1 wasent my kind of game, but idk how r2 is going to be.

mgs4, vs. geow2, i have to say mgs4. geow is a hell of fun with friends on co-op though. but, if i played it by my self i wouldent be much into it because it's not my kind of shooter.

favorite from all of those games would be mgs4 simply because it doesent have aliens. alien shooters suck.

MGS4 is not really a TPS.. A moer fair comparison is actually Uncharted, they play a lot a like, and Gears is a lot better. As for FPS, Resistance2 is more fun IMOCouth_

i liked uncharted more :P because it's an action adventure game with guns. and no aliens.

I sumtimes wear grayish black latex and pretend its octocam. I have a navy blue bandana I wear when i go paintballing so I dont run out of ammo. And I dont have a cellphone, i have a codec.

I'd take MGS4 over Gears and Halo over Resistance.

I think between the Halo series and Resistance series (thus far), I prefer Halo because of the whole package - the atmosphere, the gameplay style, the enemies and the multiplayer. Between R2 and Halo 3, I choose Halo even though its more of the same (as Halo 2), it is improved and it's more of a good thing. But R2 is a close second...it's just that the first Resistance didn't feel as satisfying as either R2 or Halo 1/2/3.

Also, MGS4 and GEoW being compared is akin to comparing apples and oranges IMO. Forcing us to choose between the two is not doing either game justice. MGS is stealth, much more like Splinter Cell, while GEoW is all gung-ho. Both are leaders in their own genre. In terms of production value though, I think MGS4 tops GEoW 1 but we should reserve judgement until GEoW 2 comes out...which is looking pretty impressive so far.

gears of war kills everyone in the fun factor imo.

something like Uncharted is more of a tps than MGS4 imo.
