Halo Wars hahahaha

This is without a doubt stupid. Lets put a RTS on a console not a P.C. because RTS's are selling like billions on consoles. Also 2factions to choose from thats it. Not even the brutes or flood. Not a very good move either. And finally who will want to play the campaign if you already know how it ends. I think Bungie is thinking because of its famous shooter its RTS will sell. Im not jealous a bit to see this not on the P.C also. Well any way Lems have fun with your RTS. Who knows maybe it will be great on your next Xbox....

Now im mainly a pc gamer, but it does look good i think. sort of a small scale RTS but rather good looking graphics and the controls also look pretty good for a console.

Chill man, RTS's have been on consoles for many years now... I had one on my Sega Saturn, two on my PS1 and so on... I know there are some before saturn as well. It's a different experience. You aren't expecting Starcraft 2 or Armies of Exigo when you pop in a console rts man. It's just fun...

i dont know why he's carrying on, no one has really been hyping halo wars that much and no one has called it revolutionary.

no one expects a total annihilation for console rts'. most rts fans who own pc's will ultimately just be disappointed in a port of halo wars. and if they did make it for pc and xbox, atleast half of the buyers will be disappointed

Ensemble never knew innovation even when it slapped them in the face. What Ensemble did know was their classical history, how to create a great atmosphere in a game and most importantly fun. That said there are two things that bother me about Halo Wars,

1 - Ensemble was forced to make this title

2 - Not only is it on a console, it's Ensemble's first title on a console.

I would have liked to have seen HaloGen on PC but of course Microsoft stopped them doing it and then took their idea and made Halo Wars. I'm not going to buy a 360 just to play this game, hopefully it'll come out in a year or so for PC like all the other Halo games.zeus_gb

Halo Wars is not being made by EA. Either way, one wouldn't hold up C&C3 as a golden standard of RTS gameplay anyways.

Halo Wars is a joke. Microsoft is basically milking the Halo name for all its worth. There are going to people who buy it just because it says "Halo".

i agree, especially with starcraft 2 coming out this year, it will overshadow any other pc RTS release this year. after all it is starcraft

Halo Wars will be good for the Xbox. Not only can it recruit more people into the genre, but possibly create a larger market for RTS on consoles. As a PC gamer, I could care less. But from MS's perspective, I see lots of potential with minimal risk.
