Do you really expect honest answers? This would be a better topic on the 360 board.for those that have played atleast through the campaign and 10 matches online

question. in your sig. what is the killzone fanboy crying about?
zarshack
He accidentally shot a bunny  poor guy :(
With KUF2 on the horizon, Halo Wars is just a fun game, great but far from the epic behemoth coming to 360 this year

is fable 3 on the works or am i missing something???
ontopic :clearly the only good choice in the poll is the 3rd one,i prefer to say that i am a ps3 fanboy rather to say that halo wars is good,if halo wasnt in the name fanboys wouldnt defend it ,you strive to make the rest of the world think that it is a good game in order to justify your purchace.halo wars floped in gamespot bigtime, its the laughing stock of 360 here,if you dont mention it it will probably fade away like lair, but if you continue to praise it you will get owned with the score in sw.why dont you praise ninja blade ???its a better choice
KZ2 sales I believe As for Halo Wars if you played a PC strategy game you'd see how limited it is.question. in your sig. what is the killzone fanboy crying about?

Im loving it. Imo it only has one big problem. Its too easy to get money. Once you have your bases complete you have infinit resorses and the game is not challenging any more. If you had limited resourses it would force you to look for and fight for more mines or bases along the map. Alse the flood sould be playable
Because it was a sales "flop" me thinksquestion. in your sig. what is the killzone fanboy crying about?

So the solution to rts on cosoles is to make it more simple?
That's like meeting a really hot chick and ending up with her retarded twin. The sex is still good but you're going to get sick of it real soon.
you sir win at metaphor congrats, anyway fun game but limited replaybability and online consists of RUSH!!!!!So the solution to rts on cosoles is to make it more simple?

KZ2 sales I believe As for Halo Wars if you played a PC strategy game you'd see how limited it is. I've played PC strategy games and to be fair I think a lot of PC games go into too much depth, so much so that it loses the fun factor. When I was younger and had time to play games all day I enjoyed a very very deep game. I used to hate FPS because they were too simple...run and gun. But now FPS are more enjoyable and strategy games are very hard for me to enjoy due to the complexities of them. I love that Halo Wars made it more simple to play. I don't need a huge build tree to enjoy a game, just give me a several options and I'm good.[QUOTE="blue_hazy_basic"][QUOTE="zarshack"]KZ2 sales I believe As for Halo Wars if you played a PC strategy game you'd see how limited it is. To me HW and console RTS's feel like stripped down versions with such limited choices, they feel like i'm being ripped off.question. in your sig. what is the killzone fanboy crying about?

No I wouldn't have. But I wouldn't have bought BFME2 if it didn't have LOTR in it either. What's wrong with liking a franchise?someone should start a new poll. "would you have bought halo wars if it didnt have 'halo' in its name?".
zarshack
It's cute if you've never played an RTS in your life and are into Halo, otherwise it just plain sucks.
I have played RTS games before, and I still like Halo Wars alot. So do many people that don't fit into your mold. It's cute if you've never played an RTS in your life and are into Halo, otherwise it just plain sucks.

This would be a better poll, it's a pretty bare minimum rts, someone else already mentioned that C&C could be the better rts, my question to you guys is if the name halo wasn't attached to this would people here or anywhere in that matter give this game a second thought or chalk it up as another run of the mill rts?
i dont feel ripped off, but then again i wanted the game to be goodrofflecopter_Yea I'm not saying people shouldn't enjoy it, everyone has different tastes, only that so many console games have limited gameplay (in terms of length, depth, complexity or whatever - don't get me wrong I really enjoy many games on my 360) but cost more. People bash PC gaming but its easily the best bang for your buck.

I'm not that into Halo and I play almost every RTS. Playing Total War right now. And I enjoy Halo Wars.
[QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]I have played RTS games before, and I still like Halo Wars alot. So do many people that don't fit into your mold. Well some people just really like games and play through a wider range of games, I love gaming but I can't bring myself to play through a lot of games, I need something truly well done in a game to hook me, the only thing I liked in Halo Wars was the CGI, but I'm not really into the Halo universe. There are too many awesome RTS games out on the market for me to even seriously consider Halo Wars. It's cute if you've never played an RTS in your life and are into Halo, otherwise it just plain sucks.

That's really nice -- so how about you just keep focusing your opinion on yourself (don't focus on saying group x doesn't like game x -- it's entirely baseless). It's cute if you've never played an RTS in your life and are into Halo, otherwise it just plain sucks.

come on eddie we all know you love playstation-why you even in this threadIt's cute if you've never played an RTS in your life and are into Halo, otherwise it just plain sucks.

lol Would you be saying that if I were talking about Wii Fit?Eddie-Vedder"(don't focus on saying group x doesn't like game x -- it's entirely baseless)" What do you suppose I placed that "x" for?

That was my point, people discussing games on a forum are always just stating their opionions which fall into group x. I sure as hell aint with the casual group, I've played RTS's since starcraft, they aren't my fav genre, which just makes it even harder to get into a game like Halo Wars. I need more.
[QUOTE="Eddie-Vedder"]come on eddie we all know you love playstation-why you even in this thread Cause I do own a 360 and Halo Wars wouldn't even be getting half the attention if it didn't come with a Halo 3 map pack and had "Halo" in it's name. It's cute if you've never played an RTS in your life and are into Halo, otherwise it just plain sucks.

There's plenty of users here who love Halo Wars and enjoy playing other RTSs.
