Halo3 is a great game, but 9.5? HELL NO!

I just dont understand why it got 9.5.

just because its halo maybe? or maybe cuz its made by MS? or could this be a bigger thing which is America VS Japan thing?

Exactly... Even 1up thought the hype was overdone for the game.

Halo 3 is worth every .5 increment that it got, from .5-9.5. It earned each one, with authority.

Why would it being MS have anything to do with it?

And being part of a franchises doesn't always save you, many games in the past prove that.

Lastly, Famitsu gave the game a 92.5% so I doubt it's region related.

Could it just be that so many review sites/publications really enjoyed what they played and gave it the scores they thought it deserved? Hmmm... maybe just maybe...

i played it for hours and i didnt find anything different in terms of next-gen standards, its just an old halo with better textures. Dont you think that a next-gen console should of did something original and something different for the game?

all im trying to say is that places like GS and other american reviewers should not be afraid to give halo3 the score it really deserved, they wont call you a terrorist and put you in jail.

1. The campaign is at least 10 hours if you are playing on Legendary.

2. You will play the campaign many times because of all of the skulls that make the game more fun.

3. Meta-games make you want to go play the campaign even more + video playback.

4. You can't just look at campaign. Look at the multiplayer -- amazing. Forge and the video playback just makes it even better.

5. What console game has anything like forge or the theater?

It got 9.5 because the person who reviewed it felt it was worth a 9.5. Its an arbitrary system.

You fail. Halo 3 is not the same game. Haters can say that all they want, but that does not make it fact.

And MS does not make Halo. They produce it, but using that logic, MS Games produces many games that never hit AAA, such as Fuzion Frenzy and Crackdown.

So God of War 3 will have guns and gravity guns / hammers and a billion people on once then right?

Please. It is when people change what people already love that games or movies or TV become gargage. That being said to say it's just Halo with better textures says you either didn't play the game or just plain hate Halo like many do here.

Halo has MANY new things, I would say it has a surprising amount of new things and and a surprising amount of things you can do in one game. With Forge which is new mode in itself and everythin else etc...

People need to honestly stop complaining. I guess if it got a 8 you would be happy and there would be no bias here right? I love when people want everything to work within their standards and if it doesn't there's a problem with the world.

I mean GS didn't give MGS an AAA which I think it deserves and then some. Or Shadow of the Collosus whose only fault IMO was that it ended.

Or the give Tony Hawk 3 a AAAA. But you don't see me making threads about it and complaining cause all reviews are just people's opinions not some kind of standard from a site or something. I mean really man.
