Halo3 vs Gears of War

While playing Gears of War I tend to ask people, " Are you ready for Halo?" or "I'm getting sick of this game cant wait for Halo!". But some of the responses I get are less then what I respect. I've heard people say that they didn't wnat the game and the game was going to suck, but others who say only "dumb***** play the game. But what do you guys think, will the funfactor actually outweigh the simplicity that we don't get from Gears of War, or will Halo3 not live up the hype ( Already preoredred the game so I'm getting it either way)

How can people completely love the Halo3 graphics yet tear down the PDZ graphics when they are practically the same?BumFluff122

well, i can see why they would respond like that. first off, i don't like it when i'm playing a videogame and people diss it in any form. second off, the community in halo 3 is really really immature.

btw that won't stop halo 3 from being way better than GeOW

Halo 2 >> Gears (Online-wise)

Halo 3 will be even better with all the added content, with that said Gears is great and I'm waiting for Gears 2 but Gears needs more variety

Edit: Also like someone said ... its annoying when someone whines about wanting to play another game while playing something else.
