Halo3 VS Killzone 2. Killzone HAS NO CHANCE! Halo3 will XXXXX SLAP KZ2

If anyone really think that KZ2 has any chance to even be in the same LEAGUE as Halo 3 well your going to be in for a HUGE WAKE UP CALL.

First of all no rumble in the PS3 controllers will have Kill Zone feeling so lifeless with no gun recoil. And come on no game stands a chance againt's Xbox Live and it's online functions.

Halo 3 will be the GOD of all online gaming to date.

Killzone 2 will be nothing more then a decent Sony shooter with weak online functions and weak controller functions.

When did I claim it would be bad? When did I defend the doubters? You should take me seriously because I'm right on this one. You can't claim how great Killzone 2 is going to be, and nobody can simply "trust you" when you say it's going to be GOOD.

You should be more concerned about the amount of money they're pumping into Killzone 2 than being happy about it. A lot of copies are going to have to fly off the shelves for the devs to make a decent profit, otherwise it may end up on other platforms to cover costs (not claiming it WILL by any means, just that anything is possible).

Couple more things. Money does not equal a good game. Gears of War cost between 10-11 million (I believe). It was a spectacular game. How much is Killzone 2? 50 million (or so I heard)? I'm curious to know what it is costing.

And don't call me a fanboy. There was nothing like it in my post.

Ok Killzone 1 didnt fail just becuase it had hardware problems.....did that stop great games like Red Faction and Black from being good?

Btw Halo 3 does look amazing, and if bungie says it will eventrually look like the E3 trailer.....then im all for it!!Also the few members of the press who did get to see the demo of killzone 2 at GDC said that the game looked good. hardware wise, Sony do talk alot of rubbish, but games, they know what they are on about, and they sure know how to do a good job. The only Sony game to ever flop is Getaway, but everything else has good good scores.

Halo has two massively-selling games in the franchise (all arguments of over-ratedness or not aside) that received almost universal praise. Killzone has one 'average'/flop game that sold a bit over 2 million (correct me if I'm wrong on this), and one 'good' (8.3 on GS) game, not sure about total sales (anybody care to give me a link?). On fanbase and hype alone, it's no question that Halo 3 will sell a LOT more than Killzone 2. Especially when the smaller install base of the PS3 is factored in.

Though I imagine Halo 3 will score a lot higher, Killzone 2 shouldn't be dismissed off-hand just because the first game flopped. It could still be great, but I hope hype won't ruin it. :|

that was not a demonstration of Killzone but a demonstration of the Playstation edge tools. Phil Harrison already said that before he started the demonstration, I guess your the only one who still dooesn't know yet.

I guess Killzone was used to demonstrate Edge because it was a way of Sony to tell gamers worldwide that Killzone has not been cancelled. We will officially find out how Killzone will look at E3 in July.

First off did SOE announce they made a deal to now support Rumble in their controllers?  Obviously you have to actually buy the controller since the one that comes with it won't have but I thought they said they were able to come to a deal with the company that was suing SOE about that whole rumble deal.

Second, I don't think anyone is saying Halo will lose to KZ2.  Infact it has almost no chance......a win IMO would be that KZ2 beats expectations.  KZ2 doesn't have to compete with Halo 3, that's what titles such as MGS4 are for.

Well thats just an oppinion. As much as i like 360, and how its making ps3 look like a "gizmondo", i do think on the long run Sony will have a very good first and 3rd party line up. TO be honest, im sick of Halo, i liked Halo 1, Halo 2 didnt deliver to me, Killzone Liberation i thought was awesome, even though the PS2 Killzone sucked, but i will wait till i get my hands on halo 3, cuz judging from the videos, it looks rubbish, and i will only make a comment on a game until i see some footage of it ALA Killzone ps3.

why people even hype killzone 2 is really crazy. Killzone 1 floped hard and i mean hard so why on earth is killzone 2 getting hyped ????? What the graphics ??? all we have seen so far is CGI even if it does look that good the game play is where it is.

just cuz theyre working on the ps3 doesnt mean anything...whoever developed gundam worked on the ps3 and we saw how that turned out...if the game looks anything close to wat was shown at e3 trust me there will be some slowdown at some point...but i will tell u this now if killzone 2 looks as good as the e3 showing..has no slowdowns or glitches as you say and if it scores close to or higher than halo 3 i will give away my 360 and buy a ps3

If anyone really think that KZ2 has any chance to even be in the same LEAGUE as Halo 3 well your going to be in for a HUGE WAKE UP CALL.

First of all no rumble in the PS3 controllers will have Kill Zone feeling so lifeless with no gun recoil. And come on no game stands a chance againt's Xbox Live and it's online functions.

Halo 3 will be the GOD of all online gaming to date.

Killzone 2 will be nothing more then a decent Sony shooter with weak online functions and weak controller functions.

I will admit that halo 3 will be superior online, but if I learned anything about playing RFOM online, is that Killzone 2 will be lag free and wont be so laggy as xbox live which will be a good thing for owners of Killzone 2. I also think Killzone is gonna come out shocking alot of fanboys out there and will be a great game, maybe not a halo killer but I think it will be the first tru shooter sony will put out for its system, and will be alot of fun. I look forward to both games and will enjoy both worlds. :)
