I like the art direction, and the technical execution of this game. I don't believe they have displayed enough gameplay or what will set this game apart from others. Im looking for something to stand apart and so far they have only discussed how the game looks like a film.
Wow, not coming out until 2015. I'm still questioning how much control you have over these characters. The game looks like it's on rails and every once and awhile you take controll and shoot a few things, then the game just runs by itself and guides you through to the next scene. I'm wonder if there are any QTE in this game as well. The game is pretty, but Infamous SS looks better in different ways. Also Infamous SS seems to give you a lot more control.
I'm not saying this game needs to be re-done in bright colors, but damn everything is GREY.
If they're going for a "filmic" look, why not make the game in all sepia tone? Or black and white?
It just looks drab to the point where it's not even interesting.
IIRC there's going to be other areas that are more bright and colorful throughout the game as mentioned by the developers. I guess we have to wait until E3.

Do work for Naughty Dog? The people responsible for Uncharted 2 and The Last Of us being two of the best games last generation are still there(Druckmann, etc.) Amy Hennig was responsible for Uncharted 3 and it was somewhat inferior to its predecessor.
Yeah yeah yeah it looks great and the models are very impressive but it's all moot if your game is boring to play.
Recent comments from them saying story is the most important factor and gameplay is just something they do that they can't get around is worrying. They're gonna need to show off some of the other stuff in the game at E3 to really sell me on it cos right now I'm not sold. But yes it is a very very pretty game to look at

Where have I defended the game? I've always had the same stance that the game looks incredible visually but also has poor looking mechanics. You guys just keep reading what I write wrong. Also not everyone has "motives"
I'm assuming you're going by GOTY's and Metacric scores (as cows don't think for themselves)
anyway.... The Last Of Us is mostly worthy of that title..... Uncharted 2 on the other hand is anything but average gameplay with Great Cutscenes.
So basically you don't like Uncharted? Nothing you said proves I have something to be worried about. Your statement actually supports the notion that Uncharted will better than before as Druckmann and crew will no doubt apply some of what made TLOU so great to the next Uncharted game.
Hand's on is a literally that... Someone playing the game on screen.
That's what I would like to see. How much interaction the gamer has when playing this game. Right now all I'm seeing is cutscenes, pause and shoot a few enemies. Move to a new location, have a conversation, run across a path and shoot some more. I can't even tell if a person is controlling all the movement or if the game is doing all of this on it's own. All you are doing is moving an aim cursor and firing. I'm hoping there is a playable demo at the E3.
The black bars on any non-21:9 screen would make them a distraction to me. But, to those who own a 21:9 monitor, The Order will be great:

Hmmm. I was planning to stay at 1080p. But, I may make an exception. This is great for flight sims. No need for multimonitor. I'd still stick with a 1080 pixel height though.
