Lost Planet. I liked it on 360 so I tried the PC demo, sucked balls. First time I had ever liked a 360 TPS over a pC version.

mostly, a demo will reaffirm my thoughts that a game sucks.

This one FPS on the Xbox and PS2, I think it was called Darkwatch or something like that. The whole Cowboy-Vampire thing really sounded cool to me, then I played the demo and realized the gameplay had no personality like a game with that kind of concept should.

*edit: Oh yeah and Blue Dragon, I think I played that demo for a good 5 minutes or so and then just said "yeah, I'll pass".

Kind of in my case. I would of liked it more on PC. The PS3 controller just didn't feel right.

Turok was one. I was a big fan of the N64 version and after playing the new version it was just boring, mediocre reviews went to solitify the fact that the game simply wasnt any good. Blue Dragon was another game that disapointed me. I liked the visual style but could not stand the randomly generated dungeons where basically all of one level looks exactly the same. Polaris_choice

Some demos have stopped some rentals ....... Condemned 2 , Dark Sector , The Darkness. I thought the Haze demo was good enough to keep me interested in renting it. The dialogue alone really helped.

I was hyped coz I thought it might have been a descent game like the spider-man games, not overly great but I enjoyed the web swinging and it had a few great moments

Played the demo and chucked the controller in disgust
