all 3 sold well r u idiots or something. this game gets hyped and usually reviewed very well everywhere but here, go to gamerankings there all AAA. this game always sells well thats y PS3 fans are waiting for it. its there big hit. i mean forget 1 mil this game hits 6 or 7 mil before its done. even the gamecube version went over a mil and that was a remake. remake of great game with better graphics and cutscesesn man that it was awesome. as a matter of fact this game outsells splinter cell by a mile. since splinter cell is suppose to be this games rival i think thats a fact that should be known. metal gear solid 1 2 and 3 have outsold all 4 splinter cells even with all 4 being multiplats, trust me the mgs sales are y this game gets hyped. that and its awesome cant wait for the 4th one
I know what your thinking. MGS3 didn't sell as well as the other so MGS isn't that popular? Well MGS2 was PS2's killer app...the first PS2 game to really OWN when it was released, MGs4 will be the same, MGS3 came out late in PS2' lifecycle where the casual market for PS2 took over and the Casuals cared less for MGS because of games like GTA and other hyped games. Millions of casuals bought MGs2 due to the hype, same will happen with MGS4.
