I bought them at the same time.
I grabbed the 360 first. However, the cashier scanned the PS3 first, but I had the Xbox360 back in my cart first. I pulled out the Xbox360 from the car first. I set up the PS3 first. Then I set up the Xbox360 and turned it on. And then I turned on the Ps3. It was a glorious day.
So, I technically got them at the same time.

Wow, that would almost be a terrible situation... because when I got home I wouldnt be able to choose which one to get first, lol.
Have a PS3, currently considering a 360...
I can either get a bunch of ps3 games this holiday season, or a 360 with practically no games. Suprised to find that its a difficult desicion...
Bought a 360 after my ps3, played Gears up to Chapter 4 ejected game and returned the system to the store all with in 7 days. Currently have no regrets on not being able to play Gears2 or not having a 360.
You need more pole answers cause there isn't one for my situation.
I had a PS3 since launch. Bought a 360 because Dell had the Elite for $299. Who could resist?
IF a multiplat comes out, and the PS3 version isn't broken I get it for that. I like the controller better and it's much quieter. Anyone who says the 360 is loud is probably misleading you.
I liked Gears and Mass Effect. Crackdown didn't do it for me, maybe I'll give it another shot. Halo 3 absolutely bored me so I sent that back. Kameo and Tales meh. I'm looking through exclusives to turn on my 360. Been playing SW:TFU and Mercs 2 lately on my ps3/

How was your time with the ps3 shorter? I had a 360 for 7 days you had a ps3 for 2 weeks lol. And really once I figured out It couldn't use my hdmi cable with optical audio cable It really could've went back then. But I did give Gears a chance and even Halo3 a chance.
because i know quite a few people who have bought ps3 after buying 360 but am just curious to know to know if anybody would want to buy a 360 afterwardspsp_bwoy
Well, now that the price is so cheap, I'm sure there are PS3 and Wii owners who would love to get their hands on an XBox 360 so they can play games like Gears of War 2, Tales of Vesperia, Fable 2, Banjo 3, Left 4 Dead and The Last Remnant this holiday season. I got my PS3 after I got my XBox 360 at launch. I didn't pay full price for my 60GB PS3. If you can get a 60GB PS3 with a DS3 and a game for under $400, I think it's a good deal.
My PS3 has been sitting in the trunk of my car for the past 3 weeks though. I'm waiting for LBP, Resistance 2 and Motorstorm to come out so I have something good to play. I play my 360 religiously every week. Haven't touched my Wii in awhile either.
Currently playing NBA 2K8, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, Tiger Woods 09.
