I shed a tear when...mgs3 ending cut scene. When The boss died. whoooO!!Bloodseeker23I came close to crying for that I actually did that Yesterday, and I also almost cried at the end of Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

you didnt see that coming? and the game is ancient people shouldn't put up spoilers for games that old.

I know he should've, also if he would of wrote that yesterday Morning the ending would've been spoiled for me aswell. The Darkness - Very depressing story overall but when a certain character die's... sad
Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core - Last few cutscenes plus the final battle, all very emotional, but what really got me was Zack's last line before the credits... pure gold
Metal Gear Solid 3 - Twice, once during the fight with the Boss in the field of flowers, and again when Big Boss saluted her grave.
I cried about a half-hour into Two Worlds (xbox360) when I realised how much money ($69 Collector's Edition) I had just wasted on it...
Ninja Gaiden (original xbox, and now PS3) routinely makes me cry (and throw things) like a two-year-old throwing a temper-tantrum...

Just think you never read those sentence in your life.. now feel better? xD
When Halo 3 ended...I being a huge Halo fan was really sad that the Halo series (or FPS series) was over and I got pretty close to shedding a tear. Plus that ending with Cortana being left alone and Master Chief going into the sleep chamber was just so sad.MADVLAD123So true especially when
****SPOILER ALERT****
They sid MC was dead I was like :o!!!!!!!!! but then I watched the credits end and was like
MGS3 ending is the one that has been closest to succeeding. SotC also had been close, but it was more shock as to what had happened. FFX could have been close had it not been for my annoyance and just wanting the battle to end (finally figured it out). KH2 had certain moments.
And I'm guessing that Fable 2 will do something with you thinking your dog died or actually is killed right before the final boss. Even though I will see it coming if it happens, I'll probably get close to crying if that happens.
Close at the end of Nights on Sega Saturn.
My strongest emotional attachment was Shenmue 2 though. At the part on the rooftops when you fight the big dude.
After I FINALLY beat him I was amped! I was yelling at the TV telling (damn, I can't think of his name all of a sudden) the man who killed Ryu dad to "Get yo' punk-ass out of the helicopter and I'l kick it, too!"
I wanted him BAD at that moment. I thought I was The Last Dragon by this time. He would have probably kicked my ass.

Awesome, now I'm even more excited to beat it. :D

As much as I was disappointed by the game, I must say that was a pretty good ending and I can see why it would bring someone close to tears.
Oh yeah, when I was getting my ass whopped by my brother in a wrestling game for the NES. I was like five or something. Nowadays games are incapable of making me show any kind of emotion basically, well apart from anger, fear, frustration etc. I just can't sympathize with these heaps of polygons and their blank stares. Like in movies the performances have to be believeable. Perhaps Heavy Rain will succeed at getting some emotional repsonse out of me. Or Fable 2's dog, lol.
The Darkness was pretty well directed. Sadly the thought that "it's a game, they can't..." crossed my mind, so the impact was kind of lost on me there. It's tricky this....emotioneering....

I hadn't really thought of that, but you are right. I bet money that he gets you attached to the dog then has him killed defending you at some point.

Oh yeah, I've been predicting this since the dog was first announced. I see it coming, and if it does happen I'll still come close to crying. :(

MGS3 was released March 14, 2006 - Exactly just how "ancient" is 2 years time? Put the damn spoiler warning as I'm just about halfway through the game! but, What for now?

Actually that was MGS3:S. MGS3 came out in 2004 I think, through that still not that old.

It really is that simple, isn't it? I would have been extremely mad if that ending had been spoiled for me. The least you could do is apologize and edit your post and put a spoiler tag in. It may sound trivial to do on a gaming forum, but it doesn't hurt at all and its better than saying "Think you never read those lines. All good!"

Whats the point the damage is already donwLike I said, it may seem trivial to do something like that especially on a gaming forum, but he could have the decency to do such.
