Has anyone ever traded their PS3 in for 360?

Just wanted to know since most people here who talk about selling their console it's usually their 360 going for a PS3. Anyone here do the opposite? I have a couple of buddies that did it within the first year the PS3 came out but now are rebuying it again for the upcoming games... lesson be learned never sell consoles.:P

I can't imagine giving up the Blu-Ray player aspect, but I know many here aren't HDTV users.

Gaming wise, both machines are AWESOME, and the PS3 has been on a roll!

Last year's LBP, Resistance 2, rolled right into MLB09The SHOW, Killzone 2, InFamous, and we got GT5, Uncharted this Xmas. Pretty sweet.

Of course, there is always guys that do crazy deals. Trading a PS3 for a Gameboy Advance, a 360 for an Xbox, and a PS2 for a lick of an Ice Cream Sandwich.

It's the internet after all, anybody can say anything.

No point trading in anu console in my opinion just save up for the next one! That way you miss nothing!

didnt you kind of answer your own question? the swap happens all the time, back and forth I'm sure.

i believe there has been someoneconsidering 360 has optional games "for free" which ps3 has not

I've never heard of someone trading a system that costs nearly twice as much as the one they're trading for.

Trading in a console for another console is stupid. You might as well keep the first one you bought and just save up for the second.Dr_Snood

even though 360 is superior to ps3, if i only had ps3 i would never trade it for 360. always keep consoles :)

That seems a bit insane to trade a PS3 for a XBOX 360. So not only would you lose money but than you could pay to play the same games online?(COD, Any EA Sports title and so on) and also lose Blu-Ray ohhh hell no.

I work in Gamestop, and I've seen people do that. 2 reasons:

1. They REALLY need cash.

2. Their friends have XBOX's so they want to play on LIVE with them.

i dont think anybody would want to make a downgrade like that..thats like trading a new mercedes for a old honda
