Has anyone played the game for pc called Painkiller?

My computer was screwed for awhile after i bought the game but by the time i got my computer back i forgot i had the game and forgot all about it. Yesterday i found the game and began to play it and i really must say that this is very like turok 1 for the n64 engine/gameplay i was also suprized by the sheer fun and action packed battles.

I HIGHLY suggest anyone with specs good enough to run a nice looking xbox game to pick this game painkiller up its to me monumental!

I skimmed through GS's painkiller page and found out its out for the xbox but that version sucked compared to the pc. The review for the pc version claimed the game had the best phsyics engine of any game out there during its time! Very nice little gem i have come accross here.Vulcan110

Which is true. I know it since it is the version I played.

I have Painkiller on my laptop and it is cool. Unlike other modern FPS games, Painkiller does not revolve around how good you are at hiding behind walls or sneaking up on enemies. Painkiller is head-to-head action based. Plus the melee weapon is awesome and very practical to use.

I played through the Xbox demo, which wasn't anything spectacular, but a good timekiller.

I thought the game looked interesting, but at the time my comp was not good enough and i didn't get the xbox version, but now that my PC can easily play the game on max i might check it out.michael098

Painkiller is just as fun as any other highly rated FPS games. Just get rid of the stealth elements of any modern FPS game, and Painkiller is just like that.

Exactly. I felt PK was trying too hard to be like it, and it failed to match up in my eyes. Gotta love the weed-whacker though...
