Has anyone tried the Beyond: Two Souls demo (out now on PSN)? 

I'm very keen to know if this is worth downloading.

Also how big is the file??

It's pretty much like Heavy Rain. I personally loved Heavy Rain, so I'm looking forward to this game.

I downloaded it last night. It is a little over 3 GB. Will play it tonight or tomorrow.

Its around 3BG from back when I played the demo.

Basically, my impressions were that it much the same from Quantic Dream. Better acting, graphics, contols. But its still much the same beast. The demo was quite action orientated, which has mixed results. The improved controls are basically replacing the directional prompts with dots and slow motion moments. It works great for the cinematics, though there is some issue with all the prompts being implied rather than known in the heat of action.

The other big thing added is Aiden. Playing as him is fun and feels a lot more open the rest of the game. It has a lot of potential, and shows it a lot. Only concern is that problem solving may only give you one real out rather than the more open ended problem solving gameplay that at least I expected in those situations. That was only one situation where that happened, though, so time will tell.

tl;dr version... Heavy Rain with everything better.

Played it, i mean watched it lol i enjoyed messing around with Aiden other than that the game blows. 

I played it. The demo's a bit over 3GB if I remember right.

Anyways, I liked it. It's a damn fine looking game with every bit the appearance of an interactive film. The two scenes were nicely paced, beginning in tranquility and ending with all shit hitting the fan. Just from the demo, I'd say it's a significant improvement over Heavy Rain in every way.

I don't follow these games (Heavy Rain, Beyond, Indigo Prophecy), but from what I've heard their demonstrations tend to be better the the final package, so I'd just be a bit cautious.

Either way, the only II Souls I'm excited for are the Dark ones.

The facial models are outstanding. Haven't played it yet just looked at the menu.

Actually I'm not sure how long it took probably a bit less than 2 hours. Started the DL right before bed. I don't believe 15 minutes either though.
