Has there been a Harry Potter game that wasnt TERRIBLE?

I mean other than the lego one.

Ive been re watching some of the movies and thinking, god, this world is perfect for an awesome game has there been one that ive overlooked?

Harry Potter: The Sorcerer's Stone for the Game Boy Color.

I played that game a ton back in the day. Awesome game.

Dude the first one on the PC. Played the crap out of it. But I was young, I couldn't tell a good game from a bad game then.Not-A-Stalker

Pretty much like the movies. I like the first and The Prisoner of Azkaban, but the rest are poo to me. Wouldn't expect too much from a game based on it though. Just don't see it translating all that well. IDK though.millerlight89

I played the second one alot and it used to be really fun. Now it's barely playable :P

I remember the Chamber of Secrets being rather good on the GCN. I don't know how well it holds up though. It has like a 74 average on gamerankings

Chamber of Secrets on the Gamecube.That game was awesome.

Pretty much any versions of Chamber of Secrets beside the PS1 version since I didn't try that one, the GBC version of the Sorcerer's Stone, and the console and PC version of Prisoner of Azkaban. All of them are at least decent, a few being pretty darn good.

To be honest i don't see the world translating well into games, not good enough bounds in the magic and creatures(I only saw the movies, sorry of it was better in the books). But i am not a fan...tomertr

the universe of harry potter is PERFECT for a game. Its already got tons of monsters, an awesome setting, good characters, pretty much built in game mechanics with all of the magic stuff, and the spells would work great as powers.

Harry Potter is not the only licensed property with bad games. Actually, it's pretty common.

Harry Potter 1 and 2 for PC

I had 3 for GC, it was similar but not as good

Lego Harry Potter was awesome.

Lego Harry Potter is very good.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on the PC. A bit clunky, but it fully encompasses what I'd expect from a HP game. Also, I liked HP5 somewhat on the newer generation consoles, though it gets tedious after some time.

The answer is no, only the books are worth reading, everything else is, for lack of a better word, HOGwash..... teehee. :P

yea i played it again recently...still holds up well for me

can't tell you how many times i ran through that....getting all the wizard cards was a blast and so was quidditch

I liked the Lego Harry Potter game. Also, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for GBA. I haven't played any others except a bit of OotP demo at Best Buy a long time ago.
