Have a vita now, should i dump it and get a 3ds?

Dont get me wrong, good system, but all i have been playing are jrpgs. Trigger happy havoc is ok, i liked the anime better. Demon Gaze is pretty average but it has a ton of fan service. And Ragnarok odyssey ace is fun but laking in story. My biggest issue is there are no games that you can simply play for a bit and put down. I like action games, side scrollers ect.

The 3ds right now has me looking at it for kirby, castlevania and mario golf. Not to mention EO:MG and Conception 2 (even tho its on the vita too)

What do i do?

um.. you might not want to keep playing RPGs if you want pick up and play lol. Vita has a golf game - Hot Shots. You can also try indie games like OlliOlli, Guacamelee, TxK, Velocity Ultra, Hotline Miami, Sine Mora. Muramasa Rebirth is on sale right now for $7.50 for ps plus members. Rayman Origins is great on the system too. The list goes on and on. It would help if you actually looked!

Save some money, and have them both. 3ds alone can't sustain the handheld fix.

Never a good idea to sell a system. You'll just want to buy it again later. Keep the Vita and just buy a 3DS. Both systems have great games.

I was thinking of doing the opposite. I really want the Vita's PS4 remote play feature.

The 3DS is less than $200. Just save up for a few weeks and buy a 3DS. Keep the Vita.

I don't think I'd ever recommend selling a gaming platform. Even the WiiU. Vita has a number of "pick up and play" type games, they just tend to be of the small downloadable variety. Just keep it and save for a 3DS, you win, I win, Nintendo wins, everyone wins, 'cept Sony of course, cos Vita sells like alligator dung.

Do it. 3DS is amazing. Best system on the market, and certainly worth buying (unless you happen to be one of the three Vita fanboys on this board); but the Vita is great too, and you should hold on to it.

I did attempt to peddle the ol' gator faeces for a time...let's just say it was an incredibly fruitless endeavour. And I mean a waste of time of staggering magnitude. Not recommended.

Never sell off a system. If you can't afford the 3DS, grab a DS for cheap.
