I only have a PS3, but it's very reliable. No problems at all so far.

We all know that hes one of the biggest sony fanboys on this site, but we just go with it :P
He hates 360 so much youd think that maybe someone who made the 360 had stolen his GF or something. Cuz he hates M$ like no one else :P
But hes a fan of Oldboy, so i overlook the silly fanboy stuff :P

yeah its pretty hard to look unbiased when most of your post are bashing the 360, and his sig doesn't help eitherYeah as if he needed this thread anyways. I mean I could've sworn he said he just got his PS3 in December. A little too soon to be talking about a console not breaking down on you.isn't this the same poll as the gamefaqs.com poll you posted an hour ago

yeah its pretty hard to look unbiased when most of your post are bashing the 360, and his sig doesn't help either I've got a 360 and PS3 and I have to admit that his sig pic is pretty funny. Then again, I'm a huge 2001 fan. Anyways, my 360 just got the E74 error Saturday during a session of Fable 2. It didn't bother me too much because I thought it was still under warranty, but when I looked it up the warranty expired a week and a half ago. Also, my PS3 is running fine. And, I never had problems with my DS or PSP before I sold them either.my wii stopped reading disks and i cant connect to the internet..out of warrenty too, and just the disk light repair costs $75, so i havent gotten it fixed
and im the only one who voted wii...interesting
i had no console break down on me ive got my 60gig ps3 since it came out in the uk and still running really good :)
My PS3 had a blue ray drive failure, and sony wants $150.00 to repair it. I am unemployed so I am stuck with PS2 and XBOX. And I have had both those types of consolesbreak on me,so I learned how to fix them myself,I would do that with the PS3 but i do not have the parts and they are complex. Sad to say, though I do not like it,I think the more advanced consoles get the more frequent this will get with all the consoles regardless of brand.
Just my two cents.

I was about to say that lol.I bought every console at launch.
My Launch Wii Works, both my launch 60gig PS3's work, but for my 360,
I have had RROD 3 times (It seems to hit about once a year, let's hope this year I get a break). I also had E74 one time.
I don't think SW is a good place for a poll, you will have people lie saying no RROD, and people lie saying they had RROD.
Also, I have a network of friends (5 buds) that have PS3's/360's....they have all had the RROD bug at one point as well.
My PS3 stopped reading discs sometime around last September.
Total time from it breaking to me getting it back from Sony was about a week. I'd hate to think how things would've played out if it wasn't still under warranty, though.

Thats what I am going through. and like I said im unemployed so I cannot pay what they want.My 3 Years is almost up and nothing on my 360. Kinda makes me worry about what may happen to it after April 2nd. :? waynehead895I feel for ya dude. My roomies launch Pro has been fine, so has my ex=roomies Elite. However, at a good friends house they have/had 3 XBoxes on different TVs, and I kid you not, all 3 broke down at the same time. I don't mean simultaneously, but I mean within 3-4 days of eachother. Only one of them was RROD too, which is really crazy. Of the broken ones, one was scratching/not reading discs and the other just completely died. No power, no lights, nothing. His warranty was up so he let a buddy tinker with it. He fixed it somehow, it worked for two days, then it just died an abrupt, silent death. I would assume if your 360 made it this far it should be okay, but you never know. Good luck, I really mean that.
I feel really bad for the 360 owners, because unlike them everyone else gets to play their anticipated games the first day they get it. No really, I do feel bad, everyone has the rights to enjoy something they paid hundreds of dollars for, even if the repair is free and stuff, precious time is wasted regardless.
I had to return my PS3 because it kept freezing up on me all the time and my controllers would lose connection. They ended up sending me a different PS3 and no problems with this one yet.

Mr_Apple_Soup
Nintendo charges ridiculous repair fees for their systems. 70$ for handheld screen?
When my gamecube stopped reading discs last gen it only cost me 40$.

You say that as if a PS3 has never broken down.
Thats why i have yet to play killzone 2 and MGS4 because my blue ray drive failed in my PS3 right after the warranty ran out and they want 150 dollars to fix it?I feel really bad for the 360 owners, because unlike them everyone else gets to play their anticipated games the first day they get it.
