Have threequels been mostly let downs this gen?

Gears 3, Uncharted 3, AC3, Mass Effect 3, MW3...

None of these were as good as the ones that came before them or had endings that hurt the series.

I thought the campaign sucked compared to the first 2. Nothing at all memorable about it. Too much filler like on the first act you had to play it twice except through the view of Baird and Cole. The final boss was cheap ass hell. There was nothing cool like riding a brumak or any really special moments.

Before that it was the only time I actually felt like I was in a losing battle, Locust in the bottom climbing up to me, the Lambnet stalks from behind so you're sandwhiched fighting two enimies then losing all of your ammo only to have your chainsaw.

Godfather Part 3 sucked balls. Nobody liked that movie. I pretend it doesn't exist.

I don't understand how you can say that Gears 3 is worse than 2.

2's online didn't even work properly and is to this day the laggiest POS I've ever touched.

The second half of UC2 sucked. Everything after the train sequence was super boring, especially the [spoiler] Yetis. [/spoiler] And the last boss battle was so bad. If you want to do a boss battle, at least do it right. UC2's pacing was uneven. UC3 gained momentum as it went on and carried it through till the end. Not that UC2 was bad. No, saying that would be kinda stupid on my part. khoofia_pika

The Yetis didn't make much sense to me too, but it was relevent. [spoiler] The Yetis were drug high on the very thing Nate and Larz was trying to find. Larz wanted to be some sort of Immortal god or something, but Nate found out what you become is a mindless monster who has no sense of free will. So he tried to go stop Larz, even if it ment killing him. [/spoiler]
