I use to love and go sabatoge the other team in battlefield 2. I would steal my own teams tank or hellicopter and team kill like there was no tommorrow. You always got kicked after so many but normally by then, the damage was done.

Have you ever played dirty in an online game?

Um well, I use noob tubes in CoD to tick people off, I use the neddler in Halo 3, In Bad Company 2 I destroy the objectives when I'm defending. This is all to tick off people that take video games too seriously :P

A few months after socom confrontations release there were tons of glitches, and people would use them and completley ruin the game. Everyone i played with learned them so whenever it happened, we could fight fire with fire, so yes i did my fair share of glitching in socom.

Ha in execution I'll down someone, and let them get up, then down them again, and let them get up, until the time limit goes to 5 seconds and I'll just kill them then.

Nope, I might have team killed by accident a few times, but I've never done it on purpose. I think cheaters, especially in fully online games like MMOs ruin games, I've heard really lame excuses like "I already paid for the game, I can do whatever I want with it", this is 100% true with single player games, people can cheat to no end for all i care, its their own game, but online its **** other people are playing the same game and sometimes paying for it, the other excuse I hate is only in free MMOs but its "I don't care abotu it anyway, so im going to cheat" and its like, then don't ruin the experiance for everyone else *******. /rant Its a touchy subject. :P

Nope. Cheating at online games is scumbag material. It's more than video games, it shows me that they are the type of person who takes pride in: A) An accomplishment they do not deserve. B) Making other people miserable from the safety of their couch with no fear of retribution. In other words, a complete loser, someone I would not spit on if they were on fire.

Yeah I cheated once.

I was playing Gears of War and my girlfriend was downed. I was going to revive her when my other female friend also was downed. The enemy was coming down on both of them hard, and I was stricken with an impossible task: To decide to save my girlfriend or my friend. My friend was closer, so I saved her and let my girlfriend die. That was the only time I have cheated in an online game.

P.S. Didn't work out between my girlfriend and I. Said we had trust issues. Whatever

Not real cheats, but cheap tactics whenever possible. For example, (and I'm a little ashamed of this) I always camp on Fort (UC2) at the end of the map and just FAL everyone down. Only map/game I ever camp on.

Oh yeah. I love dirty play. I really like it when there is a building or two where I can kill people and then I know that right after I take someone out they are going to come directly for me in which case I like to hang around in the grass outside of the buildings in case I see someone go in then I get them from behind again. Or I catch them off guard and they see me hop up from the grass in a certain area then I may just happen to leave a claymore in that exact area in case they check again then its a really easy kill. Its gets to the point where you can practically predict what they are going to do next based off of this. You have to take one of them out to get there attention though. Another thing is setting up certain areas to where you can block off parts of the map that you know people will trave on based on spawn points and paths you know the enemy is likely to take. So that away when they trigger one of these places you can get ready. In case you didn't know I'm a sniper.

I know its dirty but there is nothing more valuable against an enemy than information. Also, if all the flags are captured and my team is not very good than I will just camp inside a building and set up a bunch of claymores. I really don't like those types of matches becuz there really isn't much strategy when you can't even walk 10 feet around the map.

Once in CoD4 way back when, I did a couple matches in Hardcore S&D when I just killed everyone at the start of a match with a spray. It was funny to see their reactions, but I felt like a d-bag and never did it again.

Another example is when there is a big field of grass you can easily pick someone off in one area and then move to a completely different part of the field and just wait for them. Then you pop up and cap that ******* when they come back to try to get revenge.

Oh yeah. Its not about winning and its not about losing. Its about using smart strategic combat strategy against your enemy to get as many possible kills as you can in a row. Its about getting as many kills as you can based on your own skill.

Alot of times when cheap tactics are used the enemy becomes unemotionally attached to getting back at you and there is no better time to set up to get another kill off of them as a result.

Another tactic that I love is getting right by a door way where I know the enemy is likely to pass right by me as they enter the room and once this is done a simple knife to the back really gets them good. Of course this really makes them made upon which case I'm likely to wait by the door but outside of the building instead of inside the building. It just throws them off and I love it baby. Then I get them again the back but this time I simply use a short range gun like a pistol or a shotgun.

Also, another thing is that if your camping for about one to two minutes and you don't see anyone odds are you won't. Or at least it won't be the same guy. Once this amount of time has passed then its a good time to get a sniping position to pick someone off seeing as they probably won't be back for a little while but once you kill another be one the look out and repeat as listed.

And I would be turning a blind eye. ;) Seriously the only people who take issue with what I said, are cheaters. I would pass a law that put online cheaters in an electric chair. Why? Not because I think they deserve it, but because I know there isn't the remotest chance in a million years that I would end up sitting in it, so why not? They are losers, Darwinism doesn't always do it's job, and I wouldn't miss them. :P

Ok so now it's just conjecture. You imagine that I must be a certain way because of how you read what I wrote. It's awesome how, for certain people, you have to use like 100 emoticons for them to realize you aren't serious about something, then they backpedal when they realize it was over their head from the start.

I have moral qualms about cheating, but it falls under my "I don't care that much" category. Unless it's some championship, tournament, or league - I don't care if someone else cheats, or if I cheat myself. People are going to do it no matter what. No point and sit there whining about the inevitable.

I don't "care that much" either, but I wouldn't miss them if they were all on a bus that lit on fire and then crashed off a highway into a ravine and exploded. I don't have to be sitting here livid about cheaters to evaluate how I feel about them and realize that they are scumbag dip*****. Also nobody is sitting there whining about anything, this is a thread that addresses this exact topic, and I didn't make it. What else you got?

[QUOTE="Hahadouken"] It sounds like you're one of the guys with no moral qualms about cheating. I hope you don't light on fire any time soon, I already said I won't spit on you. Hahadouken

I have moral qualms about cheating, but it falls under my "I don't care that much" category. Unless it's some championship, tournament, or league - I don't care if someone else cheats, or if I cheat myself. People are going to do it no matter what. No point and sit there whining about the inevitable.

Sounds like very irrational passive aggression. Apparently every cheater has never done good in their life. ;)

It doesn't matter, do you think "karma" operates on a sliding scale like that? Commit murder, then walk 100,000 old ladies across the street? Nay, you're still a murderer.

All the good they may do in their life is negated by cheating at Halo. ;)

Haha, it's like cheating on a spouse, some people don't think it's a big deal and it's all fun and games, while others will continue to think you're a scumbag. It's all good dude.

I was actually being facetious from the start, they don't REALLY deserve to die. I do think they are scum though, and they have bigger issues than just video games. I'm not talking about like, some guy that camps in COD... I mean an actual cheater that ruins your game or anyone else's game, consistently, and that's all they do.

I've been following your conversation, and I just wanna add my 2 cents worth. I agree 100%, the only people that would be bothered by what you posted are those that fall under the category. I believe that people that cheat are not good people in other areas of their life, of course people who do cheat would argue otherwise... Hey Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, etc. all thought that they were good people. I'm sure Hitler thought of himself as a good person.
