I find it to be an enjoyable game for the most part. More of a 7/10 than a 5/10. The games visuals are gorgeous and the tracks are really nice to drive through. Granted, the game is a bit old school and doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything (pun intended). But for what it is - a racer - it does a pretty decent job. Having played this game as well as Forza Horizon 2, I find I like them both for different reasons. They play differently, but both work well. What about you, SW? Have you had a chance to play 5Club?
I think its awful. Visuals are good but everything feels so barebones. Its just not fun. F5 and FH2 are much better in my opinion. I think a 5 is a perfect score.
Yes it's a good game. It's the best looking racing game on consoles, but it's not as fun as Mario Kart 8. Like mentioned above, it kinda feels bare bones.
The best thing the game has going for it is the graphics. Unfortunately, that doesn't equal fun or replay value. I really wanted to like it but...just too bare bones by today's standards.
Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed not Sonic All Stars Racing......
Besides Mario Kart will never come to the Other consoles so even if its a better racer its a moot point..... atleast with Sonic its actually viable. So show some enthusiam for the blue hedgehog.
I have. It would be better if the AI wasn't moronic and the tracks were actually made for racing. So many little flaws in the design add up to a really painful experience sometimes.
racing games suck unless it is kart racing like crash or mario. if i want racing game ill just take my car and have better experience: gameplay, graphics, sound, on road, off road, open world, realistic, customization, damage physics, obstacles

I'm a level 44 in Driveclub and I must admit I am really enjoying the game, although I've only had it about a month. I too would say it's more 7/10 (I would say more but minus the amazing graphics and weather conditions, it's missing a few basic things). I know Driveclub has been advertised as an arcade racer, but it takes a background in sim-racers to be competitive, so beating everyone else is just as satisfying as if you were playing Gran Turismo. I think they have all of their network issues worked out and overall there is a lot of variety in the cars, car handling, and track layouts. Like any game there could be some improvements (I'm a graphic designer and in my opinion most of their custom paint schemes stink) but considering the nightmare that is was at launch, I think Sony would be foolish to not try marketing this thing again soon, especially once the PS+ version is available.
I traded in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Driveclub (mostly because nobody plays COD on the PS4) and I'm glad I did since until Driveclub there wasn't really a racing game that was fun and felt next-gen (at least graphics wise).
Here's some things I hope they add to make the game even better:
Longer races
Better weathering effects
Race replay (they've had this since PS1 days...no excuse for it to be missing from this type of a game)
Better AI, they either go too slow or they drive into the corner too deep and run over you
No more AI rubber banding, too often I can go from last place to the lead in seconds and then all of a sudden the AI is competitive
More American content, there's like two American cars

I agree. Graphics are great of course, but it's missing a lot of content and other things. Gameplay was just average to me. Not the worse racing game, but far from the best.
I honestly wasn't that impressed with the visual like I was with Forza 5. Gameplay-wise, I felt like I was playing Gran Tourismo 3 or something where the AI cars are just line up the track. To be completely honest I'm not even sure why people keep bringing up this average at best game.
Gonna buy this when it's 29.99. Now that it's all patched up I hear it's no longer a piece of shit but rather a neat racer. And I want to see the graphics on my tv. That's all I hear about with this game.
I like DC. Ok its very bare bones and the AI seems completely oblivious to me on the track most of the time and it can be very hard at times, however i still say its a game worth playing.
The weather effects in the game are some of the absolute finest ive ever seen in a game on any format though, some of the scotland tracks border on photo realism.
I cant wait to see what Evolution can do with DC2.
