Yes, it is a childrens show and it is god awful. Think about teens playing a pesudo WOW type MMO and summoning "Game Monsters" into the real world and having to defeat them. The main goal is to defeat some pathetic terrible generic villian whose ultimate goal is to take over the human world. Along with that you have the normal teen issues such as dating.

They also refer to themselves as gaming nerds on a regular basis. 1 male (black dude) is the cool gaming nerd, and the other two males (white dudes) are the stereotypical weird nerd and not good with the ladies nerd.

They died just after the 90's. This show reminds me of Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad, good times as a kid
