Have you sold your copy of MW2 already and if so, why?

Just curious because even though I was enjoying this game for quite some time, the latest map pack brought on a whole new slew of horrible respawns and talentless noobtubers that prove that even Hardcore mode is no longer for the ones seeking a challenge. Where Gamestop only offered $28 trade in value, I decided to sell mine on Amazon for $40. My only hope for a good console FPS this gen is resting SOLELY on Halo: Reach and from what I'm seeing, it will deliver no matter what the blind haters think.

Got to the level of first prestige, beat the campaign and all spec ops with all achievments but the ones which make you look for hidden bits of 'intel' (snore...), decided i'd been open minded enough and patient enough with it, and concluded that it was garbage. The fact that it set me back £10 more than any other new release, for literally no reason, also irked me.

Traded it for BC2

I don't sell games, If I hate a game enough... I'll chuck it in the trash so it will never hurt another gamer ever again.

It's a good game... wouldn't say "great"... but good. It's just cool to hate on the game with all that's been going on apparently.

I havent bought it yet. With shooters, i always wait until its between $25 - $30 since i dont really play multiplayer. I refuse to pay 40 - 60 bucks on a 6-8 hour shooter campaign

I sold it a month after release because I hated the online. hate the fact that after 3, 4 kills the rest is up to your killstreak. Hate the fact that I kept repeatedly coming into a game to be mowed down in the first 30 seconds by 3 different killstreaks.

I'll admit outright that i'm not the bees knees when it comes to multiplayer FPSs. doesn't stop me from enjoying other ones like BFBC2 or TF2.

I have waited for long time for that game, and have put a lot of effort in getting it on day 1, even though I hate the game, to me it's not worth to sell it, I rather have it on my shelf as a collection.

Yes, I have. MW2 is a bad game. So bad infact that it has ruined my love for the other COD games. I tried playing COD2, COD4, and WAWa few weeks back, and after finishing one game in the three of them, theybecame instantly boring. They didn't seem boring until after I played MW2, and I didn't even find it fun at all. It's just broken, unbalanced, boring excuse for a game. That's why I sold it.

Yes a long time ago. Loved the single player & Co-Op, but hated the MP.

I never got the game because once I played BF:BC2 beta and demo, I was very convinced that it would be better than MW2.

I sold it before MAG came out. I think the multiplayer is terrible. COD4 is still the standard in multiplayer for the series. IMO the COD franchise peaked with COD4 and has been on a decline with the last 2.-ArchAngeL-777-

Really? I actually thought CoD:UO was the highpoint. I think it started its decline once it jumped on the replenishing health bandwagon, and perks/killstreaks just killed it.
