Its a timed exclusive.

I put a fiver on it being released on 360/PC by latest mid 2008. I expect early 2008 to be more precise. A company isnt gonna just dump the game from a)largest userbase b)a easy to port platform.

Haze looks good though...I like FR as developers not quite lived up to some of their legendary status from the folk when they were with Rare but TS was great and Im sure this will be good too hopefully great.

Given what he said you cannot assume "timed exclusive.'" First of all, notice how he said "exclusively," not "timed exclusive." Also, how do you explain that "We want Haze to be the shooter people think of" comment?

It's a PS3 exclusive until Ubisoft changes their mind.

And, considering Ubisoft has yet to announce that PS3 exclusive they were talking about months ago, I'm going to assume it's Haze.

I'm sorry. Evidence points towards exclusivity. The evidence is rather strong. There's no need to be anal when someone uses the words "exclusively." He was simply stating the release date in addition to the fact that the game is exclusive.

So i guess graw 2 isnt going to the ps3 cause the commerical 2 months ago didnt have the ps3 logo.

and I could care less if the game is going to ps3 or pc ill be getting it on my ps3 either way but that doesn't change the fact that hermits and lemmings will enjoy this game as well.

The ads aren't the best indicators....ads for games like DiRT and Rainbow Six Vegas constantly explained how it was "COMING SOON TO PS3!"

But what really makes the determination are the official statements by the developers/publishers themselves. Utter silence is resounding from the publishers and yet the developers explain to us most recently that the game is shipping in November 2007 exclusively on Playstation 3.

I just don't understand where the Xbox 360 and PC fit into this equation. Is ambiguity really the problem? It should be gone right here: "We want Haze to be the shooter people think of when they think of the PS3."

when did ubisoft ever claim graw 2 would be exclusive to 360? ubisoft announced graw 2 was coming to ps3 months ago and has said it will get exclusive maps. not only that they have a real release date for the game.. sorry you fail.

He never said the game will not be a timed exclusive. I think he'd mention that since it's been common knowledge that it's timed for quite awhile now. BTW, Haze will come out on November 30th. November 2007 is not the release date, it's a month when the game will only be on PS3.

how did I fail?

First of all when they had a graw 2 commercial they didnt have the ps3 logo when it ended.

Second of all they said it was exlusive this november not forever

and third of all I do rember ubisoft saying it would be exlusive for the 360 this summer along time ago just like they did with haze.

Rmb reading that news? They say that no exclusivity for any console has been announced back in May. But now they just stated that it's exclusive on ps3 and want this game to be a shooter that ppl relates to ps3..which is an announcement showing that they wanted Haze to be a ps3 exclusive.
