Haze for the 360 vs Halo 3

i feel haze is going to be the Halo killer this gen. for starters the story sounds more interesting then the halo series. the game play looks prosmising, and last the graphics looks like they will pwn halo 3 graphics.

here are some pics i found of haze for the 360, as for halo pics, i used halo 2 pics because i couldnt really the difference between halo 3 beta from halo 2 .

While I do think Haze looks good we really don't know what Halo 3 will look like in the end. And from the look of the videos Haze is more linear then the Halo series. It seems to be a tunnel runner without the ceilings. Don't get me wrong, I love the look of Haze and I think it will be a great game. But it won't surpass the popularity or sales power of Halo 3.Ibacai

I know, it's awful. They're not even good H2 screens.

1. None of those games are out yet. The games aren't done yet so we can't compae them yet. We have yet to see singleplayer screens from halo 3.

Just a few things to keep in mind when looking at these pictures:

1: It's a beta

2: It looks MUCH better in motion (lighting is dynamic and textures are much sharper)

3: It's multiplayer

They are in the internal beta I believe so they get to use the movie tools and stuff.

They are in the internal beta which is a diffrent build then the one we got to play. Thats why they can actually use the video tool's unlike in the open beta where you could only watch from your first person view.

I think it was on the bungie forums. The only thing leading me to believe it is if you look at Public beta videos, the Spartan s armour seems to reflect light in a different way, making it seem more... dirty. The spartans in "Beta Complex" are much cleaner looking.

I agree, even when playing the Beta, I don't think I ever stopped and looked at a Spartan for longer than 0.5 of a second.

To me those halo 3 screens look better than alot better than haze

There's already been a Halo killer...and they're all on the PC. Haze is no Halo killer. TrueReligion_

lol, I'll remember that the next time I read it.........I probably see the graphics arguement about 20 times an hour in this forum.

And yes it will matter if Halo doesn't live up to the best graphics, gameplay, and online. Right now we only have seen online which could look different from the solo game. Graphics is a big deal because MS and all it's fan boys have been bashing PS3's graphics for 7 months now. If PS3 does finally prove they have the better graphics, I'd say it's a big deal.

i should hope so a new i.p. is going to be better than a game that has two different chapters out....

if nothing got better then i wouldnt bother playing games.
