Haze is SOOO a Halo-wannabe

I mean seriously..the Name Haze...from Halo. The Guy in a suit and armour...like The masterchief...the marine type shooting etc etc. You can obviously see there trying to outdo the Halo, since its so succefull...and didn't some of the devs diss the game???

That being said, I actually quite like the look of Haze, and the visuals are stunning...hopefully the storyline is just as good...will have to wait and see. Just felt the need to point this out. BTW, What game doesn't try and outdo another, its Not a bad thing...just ridiculously funny.

Those are vague similarities, and I doubt they're trying to be similar in that way.

But to deny they're trying to compete with Halo would be a little far fetched as well.

Wow! Both games have 4 letters and start with H! Both main characters are male! And they wear armour! And they have guns!

Calm down, kid...I'm just say, I didn't say halo was the king of kings in shooters, Of course it ripped of ideas, as does every game in some way...Like i said its a good thing, But just funny when you think about it.

Haze looks good but I feel its just a nice overlay on the foundation of a average game. I dont think the story will be worth anything and wont hold gamers interest too long after they seen all the shiny lil perks of the game.

Haze seems to follow the footsteps of the game Black from last gen, a uber hyped game that played ok and got decent reviews....nothin special or groundbreaking!

Well seeing as Master Chief is the pinnacle of generic, pretty hard to be apart from that which is the most basic of FPS character's, which is armor and no personality.

I dunno. Also, I think they added enough extra stuff in there, and unique ideas to make it seem pretty original.. for an FPS.

It sure doesn't sound bad by any means. Plus the four player, instant-join co-op sounds kinda nifty too.

And whats the bad thing about a halo wannabe. I like halos art style.

If haze is good awsome. If not the aw well. I will always have halo.

Well no I haven't met the Chief personally but I have, you know, played the games. And he can let fly with some slick one-liners when the situation calls for it.

Honestly, go and play Halo. Quit hating on a game you've never played. It's just silly. Master Chief "pinnalce of generic?" You just sound like a fanboy when you come out with stuff like that because its so obvious you've never played the game. Especially the no personality part. Heck, pretty much the entire theme running through the game is the partnership between MC and cortana.

I didn't saying boring... I said average.

Nothing about this game interests me based on the videos. It'll remain to appear average to me until I play it.
