Haze ps3 exlusive...(56k erm no)

Haze will have 4player co-op campaign.

Free Radical (Time Splitters) studio head David Doak confirmed at the Ubidays conference in Paris that the game will allow for the co-op campaign both online and off. 

Doak also rehashed some of the information from earlier that Haze is "not just about war itself, it's about your perception of war". They're really pushing this mature "make you think" angle of the game. Listen, we'll be more than happy to debate the merits of war with our friends online as long as the four-player co-op runs smoothly and gives us a truly great squad game in campaign mode.

Haze, the FPS developed in Free Radical, was orginally listed as a 360, PS3 and PC title, but at the recent UBISOFT press confrence it was only listed as a PS3 title. Furthermore, Jeuxvideo has claimed that Ubisoft announced Haze as a PS3 exclusive at the event.

 Seriously why is it so difficult to notice this?

As long as the key players fromt he N64 Rare team are still with Free Radical, I have no doubt that this game will be engaging!!

i think ubisoft are pretty inconsistant, producing games like rainbow and soon-to-be assassins's creed, then dumping out another splinter cell, what a fart of a game.

and it doesnt end there. Ohhh not, tell me, who were the first to think up the idea of interacting with crowds? Assassins Creed right? then why the F$^@ am i seeing ANOTHER Ubi game that should be dead that for some reasoning, is copying the same gameplay idea.

"Oh wait, thats awsome,  ill just "borrow" that idea and put it in the next Splinter Cell game!" Like i said, Ubi is getting lazy. As soon as one studio thinks up something smart, everyone else at Ubi jumps to it. And by the time the games are out, they'll all be so much alike that it'll leave us wondering just what the hell Ubisoft is doing now-a-days

Q&A with Dev 

How is it to develop on PS3? What can you do with this console that you couldn't do with previous-gen consoles?

[SE] It's great. Working on PS3 has allowed us to create vastly superior environments that verge on photorealism - full-screen effects, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and obscenely complex shaders. Its more challenging than ever before, but the power is greater than anything else that's out there.

How about parallelism? Does the engine support multiple processors?

[SE] Yes, it has to. The architectures of PS3, X360 and high-end PC's are fairly different, but they all have one thing in common - parallel processing. The challenge for us has been in designing a solution that will work well across the platforms.
