I have a feeling Haze will be one of those games that will have so many flaws and people will claim is garbage but at the same time you just cant stop playing, thats the impression i got from the demo.. that even though the game has A LOT of flaws and is pretty mediocre to say the least, but just something about it that i just cant stop playing.. anyone else think Haze will be one of those love/hate type games?!SnakeSolid84
Not for me, have fun.
Thats how I felt about Doom 3. Sure it had bland level design and enemies, and I ran in to several glitches where I got stuck on level geometry, and the physics for tossing grenades were INSANELY bad... but I just couldn't stop playing it.Corvin
I never understood the hate for Doom 3 either, I loved the hell out of it. Same goes for Quake 4.

I think people just expected too much due to the insane amount of hype and thus were let down. The game had flaws, as well as lackluster AI, but the graphics were breathtaking for it's time (still looks really good by todays standards) and it was a REAL creepy game. If it did one thing right, it would have to be it's great atmosphere. This is bringing back memories of Tenchu Z and Vampire Rain. :oops:BioShockOwnz
To be honest I thought tenchu z was awesome. I love the way they made u feel like a real ninja, because ninjas are all about stealth kills and that is what tenchu z brang. Not only that but u can go online and play with others so the game was really overlooked and underrated in my opinion. Just as the same case for crackdown, it got alot bad reviews but I seriously loved how they put a GTA environment and made guys with super powers to just go all nutty tossing cars, jumping far distances, man the game just was so much fun.
Haze to me looks like the most average game ever created... a generic, run-of-the-mill shooter that's neither great nor horrible.
Average.
TDLlama
Most average? I suppose that makes grammatical sense, but I don't know if you'd really call something more average than something else...

I will never forget when I finally found the exit from the ruins towards the end, only to realize that I was coming out underneath an ungodly huge and completely bad ass looking demon that made me feel like an ant. Definitely one of those definitive "Oh my God" moments that I had last gen.

dude tenchu z is a fun game. my friends and i ended up LAN-ing tenchu z during the summer. can't say much about vampire rain though.

I stopped playing the demo after 5 minutes . FACT
pigs are contempt playing in ****
does that answer your question?
The hype train has fallen off track. It's funny that it was in everyones list of exclusive titles for PS3 to look out for. I was never a fan of this game from the first screenshot I saw. The demo was horrible.
Just another shallow typical shooter. Guess I wont be buying it...back to Bioshock I go for now.
