Haze will ****

Just like everyone in System Wars, I am a fanboy. A Sony fanboy. I support the PS3 and I hate 360 just because. I don't know why but it's just the nature of all fanboys to not know why.

So the whole point of this thread was to admit to the inevitable. Haze will suck. I think most PS3 owners who played the demo would agree that it did or at least disappointed. The graphics suck, the gameplay suck, and the nectar sucks. So when Haze comes out and the bad reviews start coming out too, and you're thinking of making a "ROFLZ HAZE FLOPPED!!!11!" topic, remember that we (or at least I do) know it sucks.

Think of this as an early damage control when Haze releases.

Lemmings, you can now vent all your "I told you so!" "LOLZ HAZE FLOP3d!!!11!!" here. Just keep it here so the board doesn't flood with "Haze Sucked".

I predict Haze to score no higher than 8.0 but no lower than 6.0.

And yes, a cow has admitted that one of their system's exclusives sucks.:o

Like you said, the gameplay sucked, the graphics sucked, and the nectar sucked. But somehow it was still pretty fun.Couth_

Graphics were great.. its just like any other game out there, however, gameplay was mediocre. Its nothing that special compared to any other FPS.

Tried to make a joke on fanboys, guess I failed at it :|. I honestly don't hate the 360 but I like the PS3 more (for legit reasons) than the 360.

i actually like the game and the demo just made me want to experience more of the game. i think this is the first time a demo has made me want to go out and buy the game. the graphics are not that bad compared to games like f.e.a.r. and the darkness or even gta iv. honestly i don't see how anyone can say that this game is disappointing from just playing the demo. also nector made a big difference to me as i coulnd't even see the rebels in the jungle have the time. the only thing i didn't like was that i couldn't lock onto people but other then that everything was gravy.-Renegade

It's coming out in like 10 days, I don't see how they can improve the game anymore in so little time. They probaly have all the copies in the boxes ready to be shippped.

After playing both, I disagree. This isn't a technical night mare like Killzone 1.

This game was deficient in everything that makes a good shooter. Shame on Free Radical.

You are correct. There is not enough time to improve this game where it needs it which I will admit are the graphics. The gameplay was decent but nothing really new. When I downloaded Uncharted, I was stunned. I know it would be a good game and I was right. It's one of my favorite games. I have Haze on reserve and I am going to switch my money to either KZ2 or Resistance 2.

after playing the demo my prediction for haze is 6.5, im not a huge fan of FPS (although timesplitters is one of my favourites) and haze just felt poor

It's possible. But why would you release the older build and not the newer one?

i would describe it as solid but not spectacualr. it doesent do anything horribly wrong...but it doesent really do anything to stand out from the crowd either. the nectar system is good but not spectacular.

if the game was just more of the same as the demo then id probably give it a 6 (where 5 is just plain average and run of the mill)

i agree, uninstalled it right away. the gameplay felt like something was seriously missing.

when i was shooting a person, it didnt feel like i was shooting a person...

I haven't played it, just thought I'd admit to that before stating my opinions. But judging by what I've seen of the game, I don't think it would be on anyone's radar if it wasn't an exclusive or being made by Free radical. To Free-radical; hurry up and shove this one out the door so you can start working on Timesplitters 4 already!
