That was an oddly written review. That was the first review I'd ever read that actually mentioned "fanboys", how great it is that this is a PS3 exclusive, and how this is review is ammo for PS3 fanboys to use on 360 fanboys. Not very unbiased at all.

Maybe it is odd. I still find the fact that the guy from IGN UK said that the gameplay was repetitive yet said that there is a lot of diversity in the combat, a little odd. Seems to me he contradicted himself.

"Pros: An interesting narrative, fantastic production values and deep combat system results in the first triple-A PS3 title of note"

A Pro is that his review results in the first AAA PS3 title? Seems like this guy was a little drunk on his own journalistic power.

By the missteps of the game he pointed out, I think this game's going to score poorly on GS.

That's kind of strange that he would keep mentioning God of War 3. It's easy to take for granted the quality of reviews at GS, until you read other sites' reviews.
