[QUOTE="BenGenio"]Don't these developers learn anything from games like Ninja Gaiden? The A.I. looks terrible enemies just standing around waiting to be used as object to execute meaningless "beautiful" stuns. Little things like the horrible hair physics, clipping all around, something that looks like blood but isn't, and what looks to be a shallow fighting game makes this game a nothing but a hard attempt to make a AAA-game. This game has potential, but looks like some more work has to be done. [/QUOTE

In case you haven't tried Ninja Gaiden, the enemy A.I also spends plenty of time just standing around.
At least in Heavenly Sword from what I've seen from video, they are at least trying to surround you. Â
Is it just a feminist version of God Of War?letmeupgradeIf this was "feminist" - there wouldn't be any underwear/crotch shots. Did you just learn the word feminist??

depends what kind of feminism he's purportedly talking about. Some schools of feminism believe that its ok for women to capitalize off of their Assests as long as they make money in the long run heh.
Â
Back to heavenly sword, i agree that the graphics look awesome but also agree that the attacks don't seem to have any weight.

You don't really know what feminism is, do you?
i think it's a fair description, she is carving up men in this game. yep, she's a typical man hating feminist in my book.So that's why I keep hearing this game is for girls.Yup. Through out the entire game nobody will fight back.
You guessed it.

Wait until you've played the game before you start complaining about it.
But I do agree about her Medusa hair -- it annoys me. :x
According to you??
Â
A guy who hasn't played the game and only seen an off camera video or a few pics at the most?
Â
Now if the people at the event said this then you can make that title...but since it you its quite invalidÂ

HAHAHA, no the enemies do not just stand idly, play the missions, those enemies are out to get you for real.

No kidding, what fool posted that? Ninja Gaiden enemies are ridiculous, they don't just stand around....they kill you! There's a reason that game earned its reputation of being so bloody freaking difficult ya know....
Funny how cows will tell you how great Sigma will be and then bash NG to defend this game....flip-flopping hypocrites trying to defend their system. I for one will just let my PS3 continue to gather dust in the corner...actually I'm playing Rogue Galaxy on it. A PS2 game. But it won't be long for that to be mastered. Blue Dragon comes out fairly soon right? I love 360.

great answer indeed.Â
Give me a break. Halo 3 graphics are really being overanalyzed. They look much, much better than this god-awful clipping, poop on a head hair graphics visual effort.

Unless developers are crazy they never ever tone down the AI for easier difficulty levels. Its game development 101, it would take away from the experience. All they do is ruduce the number of enemies/hit points/attack power.

ZING!
ON a fair and balanced note...developers often get too carried away focusing only on one aspect of a game and other aspects can get lost in the shuffle. Things like clipping and AI can often suffer if a developer focuses too much on graphics and impressive, flashy actions. Developers can get lazy and a game can suffer if devs believe that no matter what they do their game will sell a million copies.
its the artstyle of the game... but still heavenly sword has tons of effects. It looks beautiful.Wait until you've played the game before you start complaining about it.

Ai is on easy in all demos.Confirmed.Thread fails.stuart69

So I'm assuming that means you programed, or at least PLAYED all demos then? How many were there?

AWESOME !!Huh. To be honest I felt the same way the topic creator felt about the A.I. That's the first thing that popped out at me when I saw the video, that the enemies were just standing around, waiting to be cut the hell up. I'm a NG fan btw. And no, the enemies in NG don't just stand around waiting to be fodder for Ryu's sword.
But hopefully the A.I. was toned down (way down) for demostration purposes. And yes, the game could use a little more "weight" on the action mechanics, but besides that, the game looks awesome.Â
I don't know... I think it looks impressive, especially in this video...

This is the same demo they've been showing for a while now, so we haven't seen much of the game yet. They're 90% complete and they still have months left to tweak the AI...
What cracks me up is that people are screaming "teh multiple styles of fighting!!!" and still forgetting that DMC3 did the same thing...and had jumping.
It's just a God of War ripoff with more characters on screen. I heard a rumor that there might me multiplayer, at which point I'll stop trash-talking it.Â
The game is still looking pretty awesome to me... you could see points through the latest demo where 2-3 enemies would attack at once... but hopefully the AI will still be tuned up some. I'm sure it will ship with different difficulty levels as well. But the fighting and the graphics looks fantastic.... I'll definitely be picking this one up.Sgt_Hale
same my biggest gripe was with the framerate it seemed....unstable. some of the animations need touch ups but thats it this game looks sick!
