Heavenly Sword: Needs a Few More Polygons (Literally)

This isn't bashing the power of PS3. But the developer of Heavenly Sword needs to add just a few polys to Nariko's legs. This reminds me of PS2 or Dreamcast were the legs always suffer from a lack of polygons. There's no reason for this on PS3.

the only issue i have with this game is the hair

not only does it look like it doesnt fit on her head well (low poly hair), it moves around like snakes when shes not even moving

They can do a "hair graft". Trim the polys from her hair and put them on her legs.

I think it looks great, too. That's why there's no excuse for such low polys in the legs.

the thing is...the hair has no polys either. Just shave her hair. and just take out her legs....It would be interesting to see a main character that is bald with no legs :P.

No. This thread is factual. Perhaps the PS3 isn't very powerful? Maybe the developer is pushing the Cell to the max and can't fit another 100 polys in her legs?

Indeed, lol. That is what makes it so cool. Think just think of a pissed off, but fine Medusa with red snakes for hair.:P Just kidding, but seriously, I think it is an extremely cool effect. It makes the character stand out and seem very unique. Like there is some sort of "aura" or "power" flowing through her from the blessed, but cursed blade that she carries. It is going to be a killer game, man.

That would also be a very efficient polygon moldel! I hope the developer is reading this!
