Heavenly Sword Update from Gamespot

I dunno. I played the demo this weekend and it was weird. A lot of times I didn't feel like I was even controlling what was happening. All of a sudden she would wipe out a bunch of dudes and all I did was tap triangle and square in various patterns. The official hype for this game is AAA which seems absolutely ridiculous in light of current events. Good graphics, un-remarkable sound, and borderline bad gameplay FTL.

I guess it would be pretty funny if it got a AAA score here. Asplosion Omega from the lemming/sheep quadrant.

I think the reason HS gets mixed reviews is some ppl just plan **** at these type of games.

You can either hate or love HS depending on how you play it. Use stances, Air juggles, and parrying and you'll love it. Tap Triangle and square like the TC did and you'll hate it. Simple as that.

Yes, I would actually be surprised if it got AA at this point. They just didn't flesh out the gameplay enough from the sounds of it.

considering they have given the lowest bioshock review ever so far out of loads of people, i wouldnt be surprised to see hs getting A or low AA

The truth of the matter is, the demo on the PSN is a demo of last year's E3 presentation of the game. From then to now, I'm pretty sure things have been tweaked in some way or another. Either way though, it's a renter at best. We'll see how reviews go here. GS has been rather shocking lately. You never know.
