Heavenly Sword...Wha!?

I dont understand how people are hyping Heavenly Sword higher than Ratchet and Clank. With Ratchet and Clank we know that they are great games and it looks spectacular With heavenly sword (for those that have played the Demo) its most def. is not Female GoW. it gets repetitious pretty quickly. Sure it looks great, but it doesnt play all that great. So lets summarize:

R&C: Humor, Graphics, Gameplay, Innovative Weapons, Good Track Record, Great Characters.

HS: Great Graphics and Emotions and........(crickets in the background...)

Cows are playing it safe from now on. I think the next PS3 game to get AAA hype will be Uncharted and then MGS4 probably UT3 as well.

I agree 100%. The official hype was locked at AAA a while ago before the first reviews started coming in. There is going to be massive floppage on this one.

R&C is going to be a massive hit. I might consider getting a PS3 when the AAA scores start coming through for it.

My solution is to hype Ratchet and Clank AAA to match Heavenly Sword's hype.

here my hype for the games mentioned above: ratchet will get a low 8.0 and HSword a 6.5

AAA hype for Uncharted would be a mistake. The gunplay looks awful judging by the videos, and it also seems to play a big part in the overall gameplay.

AAA hype for Uncharted would be a mistake. The gunplay looks awful judging by the videos, and it also seems to play a big part in the overall gameplay.

I think uncharted will prolly hit in the upper AA category 8.5 by todays rating and 8.8 in yesteryears ratings. But HS will not get AAA. I'm a PS3 fan, but for the luv of god, what are people smoking!? maybe they havent played the game yet but shame on anyone who compares HS to GoW...shame on u!

Official hype is ALWAYS locked in before reviews start showing up...there is no other way to run it. So, the official hype of HS doesn't really tell you much about how much it's being hyped at this point.whoisryanmack

Exactly. Otherwise, everyone would just play it safe and bet around the available review scores. For ownage to happen, we need to be clueless about the actual game.
