Why? Should we let certain types of games die with generations? The last game like this scored around a mid-AA, and it was really good, anyone who hasn't played the previous one, can't really talk about this one being bad for those reasons.

Well, there is some game play footage out there of it... and from what I saw I wasnt impressed. Not even graphically really. I didnt think it looked so great.

woops i didnt see that its just too many lemmings starting threads like kz2 will flop, x game will flop, y game will flop,etc. i just wanna see a flame war in a geow2 will flop thread. i will lol so hard.

No No No and No. The only people who hype this as like AAA or AAAA HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THE GAME. They never played any other game by the creator and are blinding themselves to things that people who played the prior game and that all the previews are telling them. They are going solely from screenshots.

That type of hype doesn't count. Thats idiot hype. Its one step above some Lemming secretly hyping PS3 games as 10s so he can comeback later and be like, "I remember people hyping this as a 10... fail."

Hype for this game should be like 80-90 on gamerankings. 80 being skeptics and 90 being people who hype every PS3 game as the second coming of christ. Sales hype should be like 200k-500k globally after 1 year on the market.

Not sure if Heavy Rain will flop, but those Quick-time events kinda turns me off from the game, I am horrible at them. Mainly because of my dyslexia.

Every single next-gen game until like 2010 on every console and PC is going to be a huge critical and commercial flop until fanboys stop flaunting their consoles and game lineups in perfect "My daddy could beat up your daddy!" form. Every 360 game is supposed to be a PS3 killer and every PS3 game is supposed to be a 360 killer. There's not going to be a clear winner in this generation, guys. Get over it.

Also, by all accounts, both the Playstation 3 and the XBox360 are wildly disappointing flops so suck on reality for a while. The entire video game industry is a flop when you compare it to nearly every other sector of the entertainment industry. Cheap, browser-based games are often more profitable than any of the next-gens.

and sure, assume the whole game plays the same way as a mere 2 minute scene. and its not just pressing the button when it told you. there are so many ways that you could have come out of that situation from the demo. you could have let yourself be killed and the game would continue in a completely different way
