I'm getting it on PS3. They're actually giving you the option to have shooting with R1 and Plasmids with L1. Much better that way.ParasomniacWow That is the way to go! Same option for 360?
I would wait reviews and the overall feedback man. It's not like it's going to be insanely better on the PC (the first one looks about the same only with increased resolution and framerate -no in-game AA)andit will most likely run equally on the consoles, its been a long time in development and with a very big team. So... just choose any of them.

Can you confirm this? http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?p=547485#post547485 It was confirmed on the official 2k forums by 2k staff
I really don't think it'll matter. Get the version of the game for the system you use more? Or like more?xsubtownerxYou're probably right. Anyone know if the studio at 2k Marin did Bioshock PS3 cause I heard something a while back about the devs switching programmers and what not.

The game looks great in this PS3 walkthrough.
Plus it natively supports the 360 controller, so PC version wins in controls as well. Oh and 60fps, so yeah.PC

I was probably over reacting the situation, and I prefer the PS3 controls for Bioshock in particular(i've played the 360 Bioshock), so I might go for the PS3. Now Collector's Edition or no Collector's Edition!?(Will be second time I snab a CE next to Fallout 3)

Fixed.
this if funny, as soon as people know the games will be the same on each console they start careing about how they will control
and which system has the more comfy controler for that type of gameplay.
they should care more about controles in the first place, insted of counting pixles

You'd rather use a 360 controller than a kb/m in an FPS? The only FPS and TPS I know of so far that Controller > Mouse are Killzone 2 and Dead Space. Sure KZ2 isn't on PC, but it would suck on M+KB for the same reason Dead Space does, they are slower games. No twitchy movements, so it doesn't translate well onto PC. Other than that, for every twitchy shooter (Bioshock had twitchy controls so I assume the second will) M+KB is king.PC

I bought it for PC, because I played the original on 360 and I'm not really buying 360 games anymore. I could have bought it for PS3, but I already have the original on Steam from a sale a couple years ago. Sounds like a pretty inconsequential, nonsense reason, right? Good. Because there's so little difference between the 3 versions that really, it takes something that minor to tip towards one platform or another.lowe0Well, the PC has better graphics (even if just the resolution) and more frames per second. Also, most people prefer kb+m for FPS. These aren't groundbreaking reasons, but they're not minor differences either.
So, if you have a capable PC, I think it is the recommended system. Although if you don't, you're not missing out on much if you choose either of the other two.
I prefer controllers as well. I'm replaying Bioshock today on my PC with a Dualshock 3 through blutooth, emulated to a 360 controller so I can play on the 52 inch from my couch.
Controllers are fine for FPS when the games are designed with them in mind in addition to the KB/M, like Bioshock.
I have the Collectors Edition for 360 on Pre Order,
Played the Original on 360, May as well play the second one there too.
