Posting it on system wars cause its the only board thats alive.

Hi, my cousins came over and brought their 360. Can anyone show me what the original x360 wire that ouputs the audio and video looks like because I think this is an hd cable and wont work on my sd tv. And if the HD wire is compatible with sd tvs, how, it wont work, when i tried connecting the 2 audios to my sound system it worked but no video. This wire has 5 things, into 2 separate branches with 2 audios and then the whole thing but the colors are weird with blue and green and red.

So, how can i get this to work./

And to make it system wars esque, teh wii sucks.

OK, i think that i can help you, what you need to do is use the branch with the YELLOW, RED, and WHITE. The yellow one plugs in the back your TV and the other 2 to you sound system. And on more thing make sure that the switch on the part where you plug in to the 360 is on TV not HDTV Hope i helped.....

If it's Component cable that came with the 360 then it should also have the composite jacks included...Forget about the green andblue jacks of the component, there should be another 3 jacks: yellow, white and red (those are what you should use for the SDTV)....Also, dont forget to have the switch that's on the cable's plug to SDTV and not HDTV.

EDIT: Yeah, like 00kev said.
