Metroid Prime 3?! That's the only good quality FPS on the Wii though. Sad to see they're giving up on selling it. :(

Some of those games are actually somewhat new. Why don't they just make a "Players Choice" thing for those games as opposed to trying to sell them at full price?

So your still be able to order them online? Or is there a way to get them digitally? I mean there not 100% removing them are they because that would seem stupid.

Wario Land: Shake It!

Wii Fit

drakecool1

Recently in a Target store I went a few days ago, I saw Wario Land: Shake It for about $24 and in the bargain bin section. It may tell something about how it sells. As for Wii Fit, it is not surprising as it is succeeded by its sequel Wii Fit Plus.

In that same Target store I went, New Super Mario Bros. Wii is out of stock as do the DS version and the Wii.

Snagal123

you can get them online but nintendo wont be shipping them to stores anymore so the only way to get them is used or in sites like ebay.

I'm wondering about that too. Where the hell is Player's Choice Nintendo? A lot of your games need it (Mario Galaxy is one of them) and so do these games.

I don't get why this is such a big deal. All games stop being shipped at some point.

That sucks about Fire Emblem... I wanted that game when I had the wii but none of the Gamestops had it in stock when I owned a wii Winter 08' - Fall 09' to bad too as I am a big srpg fan and loved GBA -DS fire emblem. these look like some of the better wii games why are they stopping shipping these? (well excluding wii music) and didn't these come out last year? whats going on here? Also why not stop carnival games or other shovelware too?

They're selling it now, but wait until a few months and it'll be hard to find.

If you look in stores, unless you call searching on the Internet hard.

I suppose there is no point manufacturing copies if retailers arent asking for them, and no point shipping if people are just not buying.

These games have had a good shelf life, and will crop up in the used section everywhere.

I might pick up Battalion Wars II and Fire Emblem, though, just in case ;)

So, even if I don't have a Wii, should I be buying these games now for when I do eventually get one? Because some of these I've never played and want to (Metroid Prime 3 and Wario Land Shake It).

Looks like I need to get that Metroid Trilogy sometime... even though I'm not in a position to play it anytime soon.

They obviously don't want any quality on the shelves if they're discontinuing all the Metroid Prime games.

They could make these games players choice in a while maybe. But games like Mario Galaxy are still selling way too well for a price drop
