Because you can play them on the PS3
So any game on the PC can be played on the PS3.

no you can't.
GordonRamsay23
Yeah you can. All you need is a program called streammygame and an a PC + PS3 connected on a network.
What?? The game is running on the PC not the PS3. He might as well just connect his PC to his HDTV!much like remote gaming its worthless in a outside your house enviorment every game that has remote play lags like hell over the net, it only works even worthwhile when you play it on your home network.

and other OS is no longer a feature
there's like 4 obstacles to get over and one still requires the PC. oh well, sure some cows will buy this up and start saying it:lol:

Well, yeah... it's not like that new gamingconsole where you play PC games over the internet... I forget what it's called.
Streammygame lets you play your PC games over on your PS3 on your local network. Just like how PS3mediaserver lets you play movies/music files on your PC over on your PS3. Same principle.
If your PC has to be good enough to run the game what is the point of streaming it through your PS3? Seems like a feature that looks neat to show off but is ultimately worthless to all but a few who might find some kind of worth out of it. tbone802
**shrug**
So you don't have to lug your computer tower to your HDTV I guess? Not really the point. Just wanted to show that you can't really count games like Mass Effect as exclusives since they are both on the PC and Xbox 360, since the counter arguement seems to be,,, "but you can't play it on the PS3"
Just wanted to show that technically, yeah you could.... if you really wanted to.

Use a Lan case, or an mATX case. There is really no advantage to this software.
Those games weren't counted as exclusives anyway.

exclusive is a relative term, and its also not only on one system, but on specific systems. If you compare ps3 vs 360 then anything on the 360 not on the ps3 is exclusive to the 360. Add a pc then its exclusive to pc and 360. take out the ps3 they are no longer exclusives since the games are on all systems being compared, which is pc/360[QUOTE="GordonRamsay23"][QUOTE="tbone802"]If your PC has to be good enough to run the game what is the point of streaming it through your PS3? As "exclusive" can mean to a group, rather than an individual. However in System Wars, to keep things as simple as possible, they are not exclusive in any way.

So technically, Tiger Woods didn't cheat on his wife, because he only cheated with other women. Just because he didn't cheat with men, Tiger is still exclusive to Ellie Woods?

Technically the ps3 isn't getting played on, all you are doing is just streaming the image from your pc to the hdtv via. the ps3, the ps3 isn't doing anything, the PC is still playing the game, all the difference is that you are now doing it with a DS controller
uh you still need a PC for that to work
that'd be like streaming a PS3 game to your 360 and saying "oh look, the PS3 haz no games"
I think the whole 1+1 = 2 thing is enough. A game that can be played on two different systems is not exclusive to one.

You would think so... but for some that is not enough.

It's kind of funny because I was just using my netbook to play some old games like Kings quest 5 and Grim Fandango. I remember 10 years ago when those games required a "gaming PC"
10 years from now, netbooks will be able to play Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, Gears of War, etc... it's only a matter of time.

Hey if you want to upgrade your PC instead of buy a 360 that's your decision. I choose to have a 360 and a PS3 so as I said I don't really care if a game is shared between the 360/PC, in my world it's an exclusive. Yes I understand here in SW those are not exclusives and that other people have different situations but when I am comparing libraries with my friends we don't pretend games don't exist just because they can be played on more then one system, especially one that nobody I discuss these things with actually uses for gaming.[QUOTE="tbone802"][QUOTE="ianuilliam"]But I don't have an Xbox 360 so I can only play PS3/360 multiplats on the PS3 and to me they are PS3 exclusives. Why just not connect your pc to an HDTV its much easier like thatadamosmaki
My thoughts exactly. Most HDTVs have VGA or DVI plus HDMI.
