I'd rather believe the fanbase. Resistance is ****. Typical Alien Invasion COD clone with admitedly inventive weaponary, but that's about it. Resistance Fall Of Man is one of the worst FPS this gen. :|

not surprised resistance is horrible to be honest. ps3 can't seem to do open games that good without removing grass and foliage from mafia2/rdr so its only linear games. resistance is so linear and boring as it pales comparison to other fps on the market right now.NotAFanboy7

Stalker released with many many bugs. Marked down accordingly.

Stalker is a much much better game than Metro 2033 and I enjoyed Metro. With an appropriate mod, any of the Stalker games are easily in my top 5 games of all time. They really are exceptional. So er, yeah, Resistance - no.

Well Resistance is obviously better because they wouldn't have closed down otherwise; Hermits claim they have all these top quality titles but if they can't stay afloat financially then there's clearly something wrong.DarthJohnova

Actually the stalker franchise has sold 5 million copies+. SOC sold 1.7million copies in the first 10 months. I'd say that is a successful franchise, espcially since it was on only one platform. If you read the story of Stalker 2 being cancelled you will see that the concern about an official takeover of the company by the Ukraine. There are a lot of political issues in that country. Read between the lines. Stalker 2 will come out eventually, just not through GSC.
