I'm pretty sure there are more Xbox 360 exclusives. I can name two right off the top of my head. Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. And Dead Rising(unless you count Chop Til' Drop on Wii)

Yeah I got way more & better exclusives on my PS3, yet my 360 gets more gaming time. Funny how that works out.

I still think that Metacritic is better. It's a collaboration of multiple opinions, not just one.

All this thread has told me is that IGN is even more terrible than I thought. Ratchet, Folklore, Resistanceand Uncharted got 9s? Something is horribly wrong there.

I have no idea. I don't agree with it and think it is an unbiased site. I didn't even know that about them ranking 360 higher than PS3, so that even further my belief that they are not. You'll have to ask a Lemming why they are pro PS3

Exactly. Looking at the sales of those games it looks like PS3 owners also prefer other consoles.

While this is just one site, and it's quite the reverse of Gamespot...it does go to show that while the PS3 came out a year later, Sony's strategy has resulted in a crapton of quality games.

Are they all AAA worthy, that depends on the site/gamer/mag, but we do know there is a lot more quality being pumped out compared to the competition.

Of course, the end result hasn't been to wonderful for Sony so far this gen, but far be it for me to say that 27+ Million is horrible.

I suppose the strategy of saving Millions upon Millions in making new games and just spending a fraction of that cost to pay for timed exclusives (on known quality good games that are coming out regardless) may be the better strategy, sales wise.

Sure, it's not great for gamers since this new strategy actually results in less games for gamers, but finacially it seems better.

Ah well, This is GS, and here at GS, the race is a lot tighter.

Still, the only way to play is to love and cherish all the machines, yay! :P

They're wrong. It is pretty clearly stated in the welcome to SW thread that we use gamespot for ownage. If you want to post other sites that's fine but they're irrelevant to the SW metagame.

Sadly, 360/ps3/wii fanboys tend to just rate a good game with bad reviews just because it's a good game and they are pissed that the system/game is making success. For instance,
