here's to hoping cod4 won't win game of the year.. maybe not best multi either

I don't know... I like cod4 and all but I really don't want it to win game of the year. Not even multiplayer game of the year!!! Why?

• It does pretty much nothing innovative (except for the ranking system... *yawn*).. Pretty graphics??? Oh, Crysis.
• There are more deserving games of game of the year. Super Mario Galaxy.. Bioshock????
• Multiplayer is SUPER FUN..... for the first two weeks. Then you go back to halo3. Cod4's multiplayer pretty much yells out CAMPING. halo 3's team battles are tons of fun especially with the vehicles and a much better variety of weapons, and in the end... i just get off of halo with a smile.

I DO HOWEVER HOPE THAT IT GETS SHOOTER OF THE YEAR. As much as I would love shooter of the year to be halo 3, cod4 deserves it. Its singleplayer was outstanding and its multiplayer came really close to halo's in my opinion. It's a great game, but GOTY should be bioshock, and multiplayer game of the year should be halo 3 IMO.

CoD 4 has great multiplayer. Lots of customization and it takes alot of skill to play well. I'd definitely take it over Halo's "rush for the power weapon" gameplay.

As for the other awards I don't think it deserves any of them. Its a good game, but it plays like CoD 2 with new skins. Other than the levels "All Ghillied Up" and "One Shot One Kill" and the different setting, CoD 4 has very little to distinguish itself from its predecessors.
