Hermit Elitism

I always find it funny when console gamers call the Hermits 'elitist' or act like their the only ones flaunting their platform.  PUH-LEEZE! :lol:  There are just as many threads where Cows and Lemmings bash each others platforms as there are threads from Hermits where they bash the console users.  Alas!  This is System Wars; what should I expect, eh?  

Every time we brag about graphics, there's always a console user saying, "OMG UR SO ELITIST @@$#*&88"! Yet, a few weeks ago, lo and behold a thread about Fallout 3 on the 360 being graphically superior. :lol:

The way I see it is this: if Hermits are the biggest elitists, than the console users are the biggest hypocrites.

It does amuse me when the 360/PS3 camp calls the PC came Hermit Elitest and while at the same time as pegging Wii gamers as less then gamers.Blackbond

According to the current (faulty) system for deciding the winner in SW, the PC almost always comes out on top, and it's been like this for so long that people have gotten sick of it already.

Still, that doesn't give console fanboys any reason to be hypocritical, but hey, this is System Wars, where justification is unneeded.

PC fans tend to think they know it all! Most just throw out rude comments or sneak one in with their reply to the topic!

You have your platform do you not? Is it the best? Thats an opinion! This is system wars! PC's word is not law! Sales say so Fact get over it! PC fans want to pick and chose their arguments. No sales because it's 3 consoles to 1 PC platform, that is the saddiest argument I have ever heard! Consoles come out on top no matter which way you look at it! Yes PC has better graphics but nothing ground breaking to the consoles not enough for people to spend a grand on an ok gaming rig! The crying goes both ways;)

its because hermits can max out games and are savvy with technology. To pc gamers specs and what they mean are common knowledge but to a console gamers its like "wtf, is that awesome? Pr says it is so it is!!! yay this console=best" lol thats the general sw sterotype.LibertySaint

That's not really a fair generalization to make. I prefer to game on consoles(for many reasons I won't bother posting here), but to imply it's because I'm not tech savvy is completely false. I've worked in IT for the past 11 years, and regularly upgrade/rebuild my own PC's. I understand the required specs for games, and both of my PC's are fully capable of handling even crisis at respectable levels. Just because some of us prefer consoles, don;t make the assumption that it's because we're not smart enough to game on PC's. Seriously, it's not that difficult. In fact, a post like yours would actually feed into the elitism theory about PC gamers.
