It's fine if you don't, but the point of that is... if he IS right, there is a flaw in the system which they ban these consoles.. which makes the entire action of doing so void. Think of it as the death penalty.. alot of people are against it because it's an absolute punishment that comes from a legal system that is never 100% correct. If he is legit and has been banned and I honestly do believe him, considering others have also complained about similar things on Xbox.com then I am going to say the actions taken due to this system are completely overboard and should not be conducted.

Sure, its entirely possible that some people will be banned unfairly, but thats to be expected. Nothing is perfect. Nothing ever has been, nothing ever will be. But this isn't about MS making a few mistakes.

This is about banning people for ANY modification, even if such modifications have nothing to do with piracy. For example, if you replace a broken disc drive, like I did with my Xbox. How the hell does a new disc drive mean that I pirate games? Or, in this guys supposed case, replacing the hard drive. Again, that equals piracy how?

After MS banning the use of third party memory cards, all the pieces are starting to come together.

They aren't just going after pirates, they are going after people smart enough to fix their own consoles instead of putting it though their wretched "customer service."

As for the topic at hand... not all PC gamers are pirates... and neither are all 360 gamers. The fact you post an article about 360 piracy and then somehow direct that negatively at PC gamers shows something. And how you completely miss the fact that 360 gamers pirate games as much as PC gamers... the only reason it seems "more" on PC is because there are 10 times as many PC gamers out there than 360 gamers.

so isn't the console industry andeven that mw2 flopped on the pc, it's just 1 game, more will come, actually shattered horizon did...

And the simple fact that it is on the pc means that the game code can be changed and the features lost like dedicated servers and lean can be implemented if the mod community feels like it.

And since I'm talking about the the modding community, did you know that epic released freely their engine sdk for no profitable uses?
